Professional Kickball!?

I always enjoy coming across blog posts or news articles like this one…

I was thinking of something to write about today, and had a really good idea, but then it seemed as though it wasn’t quite as good as I thought, and it just sort of went away. Ideas do that, it seems. The trick is to catch them while they’re good and hot. So, today’s list? The top five ideas I had that never came to fruition. What an exciting opportunity for you, the lucky reader! My big ideas for the world to steal – what an amazing treat.

Idea #4: Professional kickball. I also wanted to start a pro dodgeball league, but then the movie came out and I thought people might not take me seriously. But, there is serious money to be made from kickball endorsements. We could sell the league naming rights to Dr. Scholl’s or someone of the like. “Pro kickball – brought to you by Lamisil”. Just picture it in lights.

Well, Dutchess, let's develop the sport in America first, then spread it elsewhere.
Then when it gains enough support to be added as an Olympic sport, we'll rape the rest of the world every 4 years.

As to the possibility of an official “pro” league, soccer's not America's biggest sport by any means, but the MLS is still around, so they must be turning a profit. So I say, why not?

I think that is a great idea. There are always stories on the news about other weird sports. I believe that ProKickBall would be huge in the U.S. Those that get in early on a venture like this will propably end up very wealth. I have never played Adult Kickball, but I have been to a few games. I would pay a couple of dollars to see a good game of kickball. Great Idea!!!

My wife an I took the kids to the ball field yesterday to play kickball and we had a great time. I think professional kickball would be a great sport.

I think a prokickball team is a great idea. Why is it taking so long before someone start such a league? You could sell the tickets for $10.00 -$15.00 each and kids under 5 gets in FREE. I want in on this investment !!!!

i have and idea of a 24 team league called major league kickball(MLK). the season would run from late april- september.preseaon would
be in late march in Hawaii. there would be a draft in feb.it doesn’t have to be huge like the NFL.
