We are happy to announce that 22 teams from up and down the east coast will be competing in the first annual Kickball365 Open Tournament on July 17-19, 2009. The weekend’s festivities will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening, with a Meet & Greet at Austin Grill restaurant and bar in the heart of DC’s Chinatown! We will enjoy some good food and drink, meet some fellow competitors, and draw teams for the pool play games. Due to the increased number of teams, we will begin on Saturday morning bright and early to ensure we can get through all pool play and tourney brackets before the sun goes down! We will start with a Captain’s meeting at the field’s command center at 7:30 a.m. We expect to begin pool play at 8:00 a.m.

We’ll celebrate on Saturday night, beginning at 8:00 p.m. at 18th & Red Bar in the Adams Morgan neighborhood downtown. The tourney weekend will conclude with a Nats/Cubs game at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday at Nationals Park for those who have purchased tickets.
