Harrisburg, PA. — Yesterday the New York Shower Hammers (NYSH), NY defeated OSC of Washington, DC to win the first annual Pennsylvania Kickball Classic (#PAKC2012). The final score of the Championship Final was 6 to 3 in 6 innings. The #JKO Tournament, the sixth Circuit Event of the year, is new to Kickball365′s National Tour. This year the tournament attracted 15 competitive kickball teams from Virginia, New York, Maryland, DC, and Massachusetts.
PAKC2012 was a one-day event presented by Aroogas Bar & Grill and Bud Light at Stony Ridge Park in Carlisle, PA. Over 250 players competed in a round robin group play of four games where the top 8 teams advanced to single elimination. In the end NYSH secured their second victory on The Circuit’s National Tour and a cash prize of $1500, free entry into next year’s event, and a unique championship belt – a first on the Tour. OSC took home a cash prize of $750.
