New York City, NY. — Yesterday the Other Shot Callers (OSC) of Washington, DC defeated Lock It Up (LIU) of New York City, NY to win the fourth annual New York Kickball Open (#NYKO2012). The final score of the Championship Final was 6 to 3 in 6 innings. The #NYKO Tournament, the 10th Circuit Event of the year on Kickball365′s National Tour presented by Complete Discovery Source. This year the tournament attracted 20 competitive kickball teams from DC, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Connecticut, Maine, and New York
The New York Kickball Open was a one-day event at Randall’s Island in New York City. Over 320 players competed in a round robin group play of four games where the top 8 teams advanced to single elimination. In the end OSC won their first NY Championship and secured their first victory on The Circuit’s National Tour and a cash prize of $2500. LIU will take home a cash prize of $1000.
