Phoenix, AZ — On September 15th “SUPERDUDES” of Wisconsin defeated the “Catalina Wine Mixers” of Colorado to win the first annual Arizona Kickball Open (#AKO2012). The final score of the Championship was 8 to 0 in 6 innings. The #AKO Tournament was the 13th Circuit Event of the year on Kickball365′s National Tour presented by Complete Discovery Source. This year’s tournament attracted 14 competitive kickball teams from California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Nevada, and Wisconsin.
The Arizona Kickball Open was a one-day event at Esteban Park in Phoenix. Over 200+ players competed in a round robin group play of four games where the top 8 teams advanced to single elimination. In the end the “Superdudes” won their first Championship and secured their first victory on The Circuit’s National Tour and a cash prize of $1500. “Cataline Win Mixers” will take home a cash prize of $750.
