Boston, MA — On September 22nd “The Situation” of Virginia defeated “Fully Loaded” of Florida to win the first annual Boston Kickball Open (#BKO2012). The final score of the Championship was 2 to 0 in 6 innings. The #BKO Tournament was the 14th and final Circuit Event of the year on Kickball365′s National Tour presented by Complete Discovery Source. This year’s tournament attracted 20 competitive kickball teams from DC, Maryland, Florida, Mass., NY, and more.

The Boston Kickball Open was a one-day event at Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields in Boston. Over 250+ players competed in a round robin group play of four games where the top 8 teams advanced to single elimination. In the end “The Situation” won their first #BKO Championship and secured their second victory on The Circuit’s National Tour and a cash prize of $2000. “Fully Loaded” will take home a cash prize of $1000.

Furthermore, with this win in Boston “The Situation” is the National Tour Champion of 2012. They will be the #1 seed going into the Circuit Cup Championship in New Orleans on November 11th.
