When you start talking about refunds please keep in mind that the event manager has already had to fork out money for expenses that they will likely not get back if the event is cancelled (field permits, etc.). These costs are not trivial.

I like the idea, but one of the leagues around here uses a thicker base that is still not like the ones Matt pictured, and they are slick as shit and have caused people injuries rounding bases.
