I hate to be that guy, but I am bit concerned about the tournament structure here.

11 teams and 8 make eliminations, makes pool play pretty irrelevant. Would rather see double elim, more pool play and fewer teams advancing. IDK, it doesn't seem like the games will be weighted properly.

To reiterate- no problem with the play, exploit loopholes, that is the Jared Walkowitz way.

Just admit it. Yes, he claimed it was an accident, scowled at us like we walked the bases loaded, and then found a clever way to get around not throwing strikes.

For me the bigger seeding issue is in eliminations. Maybe tiebreaker should be based on wetaher a team has played already in that day? Theoretically, if you have even pools (4 or 5 per pool). Tyler is amazing at taking bait. His arms are flailing a lot. His left arm is definitely back towards the catcher as his hips open up. Not sure the wrong call was made, but this is more a case of the kicker being awkward than the catcher being too close to anything.

Seriously, who gives a shit what the pools are? There is good intel on like 3 teams. The margin for error in competitive kickball is about zero so just about any team in this tournament can beat anyone else.
