Re: Hotel/Field Locations/Sponsor Bar?

IMO LGA becomes best option when you look at total transportation costs. Unless like Jared said you get a ridiculously cheaper fare to EWR or JFK. JetBlue does have great fares to JFK, but add in the $100+ roundtrip for cab and that is gone. So moral of the story is either fly into LGA or take publi...

Re: Circuit League in NYC

my 2 cents: social is not that important. look at Zog. Any league I have been in of theirs. hardly anyone goes and if they do they don't socialize anyway, only hang out with their own team. Most teams I saw and was on would pick a different bar they liked better. So like everyone else said focus on ...

Re: NYC Kickball Tournament - Official Teams List

There may also be a bastard version of DTF in the works too.

Also, have you looked up in the Poughkeepsie area for teams. Mid Hudson has some decent teams. AD-Rock knows them all. Fun group too.

Re: Hotel/Field Locations/Sponsor Bar?

I live at 95th and 2nd. Not far from hotel at all and LGA is by far the easiest to get to from that part of town. For high rollers who take cabs it will be about a $25 ride plus tolls and tip. There is a bus that runs from LGA to Manhattan - the M60 bus. It will drop you at either 125th and 2nd Ave ...

Re: Biggest dissapointment of the fall season?

I just received intel that DF made a girl play with a broken ankle. Is this true? This dissapoints me. Maybe they didn't make her. Maybe she volunteered. Girls are badass sometimes. Then my intel lied to me and is trying to get me in trouble. As someone with insider information on this one, your in...

Let's not forget the sportsman like play of Amy, who reminded me I should probably be standing on first base and not the sidelines. Great game all around.
