True story on the trading of WAKA shirts, it happened to one of our ladies last year. We had to play rescue on Friday, met up with more and ended up with an extra NYPD shirt. Not bad.

How come we don't have the week before Memorial Day off like we usually do? I'm considering asking my friend to cancel her wedding so I can attend the All-Star game.

The All-Star game is traditionally ontop of the Memorial Week bye. (In past years it's been the last full week of May.)

This year Memorial Day falls on a day where the All-Star game would've been the first week of June.

The question the board was asking earlier was would people prefer the "Memorial Day bye" to be the week leading up to Memorial Day or the week after Memorial Day. The former won out.

Or something like that. Either way, this season seems awfully short. I don't ever remember a season been over before July.

We got rid of the Independence Day bye week and the Make up week. WAKA central wanted all seasons to be pushed back to account for daylight issues in the Fall seasons. Also, OSC and iB complained last year about not having a true day-long playoff tournament. They get their wish this year if we have a rain out.

Krauter has the MSP in the works. Unfortunately he's out of the country this week. It's going to be in June. We always try to have one party per month.

April - Meet Market
May - All-Star Festival
June - MSP
July - EOSP

Super Saturday and the EOSP is July 10th.

Did the Bookie have some insider info this week on our team missing some people? That line is pretty low for us, especially under normal circumstances. Or is this Blue Ballaz team mildly competent?

I wouldn't put it past the Bookie to have inside sources.

But I believe BB is mildly competent. Rumors on the street are that they left DC Liberty to finally place above 4th in a division. It's yet to be determined if BB is better than GFY, BOG, and OITP. They've had a pretty easy schedule up until now.

We may not be the crazy hardcore matching-socks division-winning team that OSC is, but we certainly are the best looking... so at least we have that to fall back on when we [most likely] will not win.

Besides, the other 3 picked you guys to win... what are you complaining about? ;) :D

iB needs BB to score at least 4 runs to regain the #1 seed.

We definitely don't suck, I'll say that much. We also don't really give a crap about kickball. Our captain is probably the most laid-back person that has ever lived.

Well, in that case, the spread has been bumped up to 16.

After being part of so many teams, I feel extremely lucky to be part of this team. I really wish more teams were like BB, and played kickball mostly for fun, while still being slightly competitive!

IB doesn't care about seeding, we care about winning in the division tourney. We will get our shot to face the number one seeds, hopefully the Wednesday undefeated teams to, if the cross over week works out to be what it should be? If that's the case, it will all get settled head to head and that's what I am screamin!

I was never on BTTM. Whiskey Kick was the least fun. Playing flip-cup with your boss is pretty awkward. Malibooze Barbies was ok, but everyone was really busy with school so they only went to the bar for a short bit.

BOG is a company team, and after the first 2 seasons, all awkwardness went out of the window.

Yeah, but I was the newbie at the time, both to kickball and Booz Allen. I used to work for Lockheed Martin with a bunch of 50 year olds, so having co-workers in their mid 20s took some getting used to.

I'm Salty because I'm the one who called off the games. I shouldn't have. I should've just manned up and continued to squat in the rain and wait for it to end a half hour later. Hind sight is 20/20.
