I offered you a trade Trey. If you don't like it, counter it (if you're interested in Phillip Rivers).

Hines Ward. Good pick up. When Big Ben comes back he should start putting out more points. As of now 3 more weeks of benching him

Does anyone have a WR who gets double digits who would like to trade for Carson Palmer?

I does seem like a pretty long time, maybe the league knows that Rivers put up more points the Flacco and Marshall combine last week so it's slowing down the process to see if the trade evens itself out

I just finalized a trade in my league:
I gave up: Brees and Boldin
for: Matt Ryan, Matt Forte, and Percy Harvin

Depends on your roster. If you were weak at RB and you had depth at WR, then yes.

I was a victim to Ryan Grants injury.

Yep, you need a RB.

Harvin will be good later in the season. Injuries is haunting his production now.
Ryan should be a good QB. Forte will should get you lots of pass points in that new system of theirs.

I like the trade. Made you stronger. You needed a RB.

Hasselbeck will be a good starter when Seattle plays in their own division. Cards and St Louis. Weak Defenses. That is if Ryan has a tough match up that week

I don't like it but you obviously needed some RB help. Harvin is so hot and cold, I wouldn't never want him on my fantasy team. Not to mention, it looks like the Vikings are making a push for Vincent Jackson. Couple that with if Sidney Rice comes back in Week 9 and does anything, it just lowers the value of Harvin.

It looks like you have better Wr's than Harvin so he is almost no value to your team. Now the trade is essential Brees & Boldin for Ryan and Forte, which looks real bad on paper.

Agreed. But with his current RB situation, without the trade he had no shot to win. Now he has a good RB and a good QB that could put up great numbers if the match up is good.

Until that trade for Jackson is in place, I'll worry about it. But honestly, Favre will look for Harvin every week. He is still the #2 WR on the team and a QB would be stupid to only throw to 1 guy. We all know Favre LOVES to throw.
Plus, this is about now; Week 9 is a long ways away. You have to make moves early before owners settle in our their players. I think Harvin can spark 10 points a week for me. Plus I have Holmes coming back in Week 5.

On top of that, I did a comparison of the trade.
Combined Yearly Averages over the last 3 years:
Forte/Ryan/Harvin = 650 points
Brees/Boldin = 610 points

How many WR's can you start? You still have Nicks and Garcon who I would start over Harvin right now. Then you get Holmes back in 3 weeks and he will be your #1 WR.

Favre should be targeting Harvin more but he's currently not. It looks like Shiancoe (sp) is his favorite target right now. Harvin has only been targeted 12 times in 2 games. I just don't see Harvin adding much value to your team. YOu had two guys in Brees and Boldin who would be consistent. In return you got Ryan and Forte who are going to be inconsistent throughout the year.

Boy did that piss me off. Pierre with two carries at the goal line and nothing. And then almost a defensive TD on that safety, then almost a Special Teams punt return by Bush. I can only damn that MJD

My 3 WR's plus TE only got me 11.8 points combined.

Thank you Culter (didn't think I was going to say that this year) and Neil Rackers my 2 highest scores this week

that's tough. The Ravens could get up big and run the ball. But, TO hasn't shown up this year yet. I'd have to roll the dice on Boldin, he did chew up the Jets D.

Very tough.

Both Secondaries suck ass. The one thing that Boldin has against him, is that the Ravens probably can run the ball every play and win this game

True, but the Bengals have Ocho as the #1, and they also can grind it out with Cedric Benson. This really is a coin flip

I haven't been happy with TO's numbers this season. Thought he would have some pretty decent showings, but I've got 2 WR's with twice as many points this season.

So glad I went with Boldin in both of my leagues. I don't think Admin is very happy on that choice. Although there was no doubt in this league I was going to use him.

My other league I am much stronger at WR. Boldin, Jennings, Nicks, TO. And I only can start 2.
