Haha. Ok my post an hour ago about FKO was a little over the top. Lets just say i was in a silly mood when i got home from work.

I just want to see how close we all are to setting up a tournament using the captains ranking system because we dont get to always see everyones picks before real events.

And i want to see how pools would look if we had a super tournament like this.

Other than CC? It would completely depend on how the event coordinator wanted to do it. Three tournaments to date with two more by the end of May, with all three being fairly different in what people's opinions of the seedings were.

I cant wait till Noon so im doing this now with what i have on here and in my inbox. I added those 4 teams and just used their average rank for who did it and worked them in to the event. I dropped #25 Jellystone from the below format and made 6 pools of 4. So 3 pool play game and 16 advancing. Basically just tossed that "joke" pool play game we all get in events and made it a 7 tournament since its tougher.

Pool A
MEATBALLS
Sofa
Cobra
Angry Pen

Pool B
Panik
MMS
Flying V
Surrender The booty

Pool C
Osc
The situation
Relax
Pen ponders

Pool D
Jki
LBC
Mo Tussin
Lights Out

Pool E
Nysh
Super Dudes
Tfc
Whiskey

Pool F
FL
LIU
BSB
Deja

Flying V and Relax were the two teams that were voted all over the place from 6-16. Panik was a lock at #2 so they are still getting respect even without an event played. And Jki,Osc,nysh all got the 3,4,5 and could have went in a different order with some more/less votes. Either way they are still pool leaders

:character-hobbes: let me guess, it's because you heard from multiple sources that you've agreed will remain nameless that Relax sucks?

In relevant news this tournament would be ridiculous, those pools are silly and it'd be interesting to see how things turned out when nobody could afford to rest starters in pool play. Is there a cap on number of teams for CC?

I think they went 3-1 in Pool play last year at DCKO and beat NYSH. Then lost to MB in the elite 8

washington dc. they play as Off in the Park in DC Capital. They nearly beat iB, for that division, except for dumb mistakes.

They're very solid, but that's just a miserable pool. Tough to predict them not having a win, as they could easily be one of the 2-1 teams. I really just flipped a coin as to whether BSB or Deja Vu would be the 0-3 team.

This old song and dance again? Are you know lobbying to be ranked 19th or 20th? Seriously... beat anyone decent in a tournament this season and I will back off, but between you and relax this shit gets old.. neither of you have beaten a team that is even in the top 15 in terms of actual kickball talent in over a year... (meatballs austin, bla bla bla... the last 3 tournaments prove that was a fluke)

I also don't think OSC gives up a run in Pool C. Maybe 1 run against the Situation.

Yeah not sure where those runs are coming from. We just played two of the three teams in that pool down at SFKO and neither of them scored on us.

ouch! we are so bad we don't even get ranked in a poll which asks you to rank us somewhere

I wasn't paying that much attention to the thread and thought we were just ranking teams. Who do you think you should be ranked ahead of on that list? Have you beaten any of the teams listed?

Not on this particular list. Whiskey richard has been popping up in people's top 15, but we beat them 6-0 the only time we played (sfko 2011)

Tiger... please re-read the quoting before you open your mouth. I was joking with him about us completely being left off a list which gives you 20 teams and asks you to rank them 1-20. He then asked if we have beaten any of the teams. We have. I do not think we deserve to be ranked higher than where people put us. We have been awful lately. Your reading comprehension level is shitty. 1-11! :character-hobbes:

Sorry for the make-believe slight. I initially had you guys at 2RA, but had to give you a couple more to ensure that OSC would be in the opposite bracket as Meatballs/Panik. I justified it by assuming your opponents would have their best teams in this tourney.

But we were hypothetically playing lockdown defense. And we hypothetically didn't have to move our tents. And we hypothetically always had the wind doing what favored us.

You were, but then one of the Flying V girls bent over on an adjacent field, distracting DJ as a fly ball sailed over his head. You need to work with him on his focus.

I catch more butterflies than kickballs in the outfield. (Yawn)

If there was ever a tournament with these teams all in, I would want to watch every elim game on video afterwards. I've played against most teams on the list and there is no defense like Meatballs and no offense like Panik. To play them in a final four and final would be a perfect ending to DCKO.

#6 could never play #2 in the quarterfinals. This is incorrect on the original fake elms bracket.
