#6 could never play #2 in the quarterfinals. This is incorrect on the original fake elms bracket.

Good catch. Fixed.

As said before SFKO 2011 was not even close to being WR. That tourney opened their eyes and consolidated with the Safety Pullout (the team Bellman played for and I captained in SFKO 2011), well at least a few of their players.

Austin this was a poor showing, but I can guarantee that it won't happen again. Especially if they have their core group of players.

As for the fake pool F. WR finishes 2nd behind NYSH

Tweasy be honest... if every member of whiskey asked you to suck their dick would you? or have you already? You always guarantee that they are gonna do awesome next time, but they never do... you wanted to bet Kevin that whiskey would make the final four in Austin and they didn't even win a game...

Return of Ctiger wrote: This old song and dance again? Are you know lobbying to be ranked 19th or 20th? Seriously... beat anyone decent in a tournament this season and I will back off, but between you and relax this shit gets old.. neither of you have beaten a team that is even in the top 15 in terms of actual kickball talent in over a year... (meatballs austin, bla bla bla... the last 3 tournaments prove that was a fluke)

The pot calling the kettle black here.

:character-hobbes: as usual I will take great pride in picking apart your argument, eventually embarrassing you, and ending with you hiding in your little :character-hobbes: den for a couple of days after I make you look stupid.

I will now begin. You are wrong, in the past year 4/26/11 to 4/26/12 we are 2-3 against teams ranked in the top 15 of this great tournament. We lost to the MEATBALLS 9-2 on 2/18/12, OSC 7?-0 on 2/18/12, and Cobra Kai 5-0 on 4/21/12. I feel no shame in losing to 2 of the best teams in the country, I don't care what the score was. A loss is a loss, it always sucks to lose, and it happens frequently against MEATBALLS and OSC, there's a reason they are both elite teams. We beat the MEATBALLS 1-0 8/11 (can't remember the day) which no one in Ultra has been able to do in a tournament setting. And even though you perceive it as a "fluke" it still happened, so just because you say something is a fluke doesn't mean it becomes scratched from the record. We also beat MMS 5-0 on 4/21/12.

Now, I'll save you time and make your argument for you. :character-hobbes: says "Listen retard, the teams you beat were missing some good players and did not have all their members!! Relax sucks, I saw them drop a pop fly once. There have been at least 30 people who I cannot name due to not wanting to ruin my flawless reputation who think the same way that I do." To which I would reply you are correct they didn't have their full rosters and neither did we in any of the 5 games mentioned above.

In closing, :obscene-moneypiss: :character-hobbes: , lets get back to finishing this incredible FKO event.

Side Note: Please no one interpret this as anything other than me proving to :character-hobbes: his brain is still small.

My bad for rooting for team full of friends. If you stop being a douche, one day you might understand.

As for their performance, they played like shit and I expected more from them. It happens.

Back in the old days our team had one good tournament and we thought we were the shit. Added a few players, changed things around and thought we would for sure make the final four of our next tournament. Turns out we had our worst tournament ever - only won one game in the morning. All the people who gave a fuck all gave up and those who wanted to get better stuck around and the next time out we played our best tournament ever at Founder's Cup. There's always a few potholes along the way. No one's gonna sleep on WR any more, despite Austin, and I hope they all stick with it.

How dare you pick your team to beat us in the hypothetical semis. Everyone knows the hypothetical first base ref had it in for us.

That's exactly how I feel, especially after a strong BotW showing. Austin was an eye opener and I know the few of us who were there and are in this for the long haul are definitely fired up. Good thing New Mexico is only weeks away rather than months away so we have a quick shot to redeem ourselves.

Thanks for acknowledging that. Our infield has completely changed since then. We went with what worked in our local leagues and got worked(before SFKO I think I had pitched for two weeks ever so I sucked lol)

We made some changes and have gotten better. I'm not one for trash talk so I'll never come on here and make predictions. I can guarantee that we will come out and compete no matter who face. I'm looking forward to NM

Every team has to start somewhere. Long, long ago, on a beach far south, a team was started that eventually beat the crap out of all of us. I know it's been awhile since but people forget that Meatballs started out the same way. And now they. just. can't. be. stopped.

seriously. NYSH started as RamRod, that went to SFKO and got their butts handed to them.

I really dont think the final 4 would have 4 of the top 5 teams in it. With some tougher pool play games then normal at least one of these teams can have an off day grinding out small wins in pool play . This would make them waste some good arms and legs early which can make them beatable for a team in elimination.
That 1 game in pool play that is a blow for these teams may gone. In circuit events the blow out game really gets the strong teams going because players gain bunting and kicking confidence in that game which carries in to the afternoon. In this format some line ups may have 0-for batters in a slump that kick in important spots of the order and that carries in to elimination, they lose in a 2-1 type game.
