sure did! I was about to lose the job if I stayed healthy. Ad-Rock is a beast in the outfield though, so I would still have seen some playing time at catcher.

According to this thread, Outfield is a job anyone can do! So I hope you didn't lose your depth perception.

That's because your job as #3 is to move over- so an out doesn't count against your Ave if you've laid down even a 1/2 decent bunt (or kick in, or you're given the base).Did I just take some sort of bait... that was too easy.

I don't count fielder's choice plays in my average, nor sack bunts. I expect to get on every time. Sack bunts/kicks shouldn't be factored into kickball stats. It's easy enough to kick into space without sacrificing an out.

BK was getting very close to encroaching on every kicker before me. I approached the ball, stopped short of the plate, he went flying by me, I bunted, the ball went behind him perfectly down 3B line. As I was walking to 1B because nobody could have stopped such a perfect bunt (even a Catcher that encroached by 3-4 feet) I said, "Enchroachment!" BK lost his mind and started telling me it was "bush-league" to not keep running all the way to the plate so he could time his charge properly.
I tell ya, amateur Catchers these days and their sense of entitlement. I don't know where they get it. Funny thing is, I learned that move from the Meatballs in the SFKO Finals. They stutter-stepped to the plate for every bunt in order to throw the Catcher and Charger's timing off. I didn't think it was "bush-league" that they were playing by the rules. I thought they were pioneers. As for little Tigger. I'm sorry I don't remember meeting you. Clearly it has had a lasting effect on you. If I had known you would have lost your mind and hated me for the rest of eternity I would have paid you a little attention.

If I get up 10 times in a tournament, I typically make it safe to base at least seven of those times and advance all runners. I might get out by sac bunting three times. So by y'alls dumb kickball stats I normally kick 1.000, but I look at that as a very disappointing tournament where I only kick .700.

I was bunting over .900 in tournaments before I got fat and lost a step. Now I have to accept .700 as an average tournament.

If someone gors down 1(with 0 outs) to move runners to 2nd and 3rd and get thrown out then its a sac in my book. does not help or hurt average
Only a sac with 0 outs befroe at bat and runner must make it to 3rd

Actually in the first game we played I threw you out one time so you were 1 for 2. And the second game we played in Va you went 1 for 2 off Corey, thats if we are counting your supposed hit on your encroachment call. So that would make you batting .500
Those are the facts...

Ok how about this..
A good lead off should be leading off games and getting on 90% of the time . LEADING OFF GAMES
Any other player should be able to bunt and get on 2/3 times on average for his career or they should not even be considered good at all. I say lifetime average because sometimes great players have bad games or tournaments.

Yeah just how i would do it.
Meatballs dc for example top 8 kickers all kicked .700 or better for the day and only 4 of the top 8 kickers where defensive starters.
If anyone can kick .700 or better for an entire day in a tournament i really dont care about anything else, I would pick them.
I think .700 is pretty damn low for a bunter. I've never kicked under .700 in any tournament at the #3 spot.
