sure did! I was about to lose the job if I stayed healthy. Ad-Rock is a beast in the outfield though, so I would still have seen some playing time at catcher.

According to this thread, Outfield is a job anyone can do! So I hope you didn't lose your depth perception.

That about sums it up...

BK was getting very close to encroaching on every kicker before me. I approached the ball, stopped short of the plate, he went flying by me, I bunted, the ball went behind him perfectly down 3B line. As I was walking to 1B because nobody could have stopped such a perfect bunt (even a Catcher that encroached by 3-4 feet) I said, "Enchroachment!" BK lost his mind and started telling me it was "bush-league" to not keep running all the way to the plate so he could time his charge properly.

I tell ya, amateur Catchers these days and their sense of entitlement. I don't know where they get it. Funny thing is, I learned that move from the Meatballs in the SFKO Finals. They stutter-stepped to the plate for every bunt in order to throw the Catcher and Charger's timing off. I didn't think it was "bush-league" that they were playing by the rules. I thought they were pioneers.

As for little Tigger. I'm sorry I don't remember meeting you. Clearly it has had a lasting effect on you. If I had known you would have lost your mind and hated me for the rest of eternity I would have paid you a little attention.

That's because your job as #3 is to move over- so an out doesn't count against your Ave if you've laid down even a 1/2 decent bunt (or kick in, or you're given the base).
Did I just take some sort of bait... that was too easy.

I don't count fielder's choice plays in my average, nor sack bunts. I expect to get on every time. Sack bunts/kicks shouldn't be factored into kickball stats. It's easy enough to kick into space without sacrificing an out.

That was her point. It's easy to do your job, and then at most you have 2 or 3 times where u have to get on, it's not as tough as having to get on everytime and not sacrafice

Dude, I seriously think you're dumb. I just said I DON'T think sac bunts should be factored in. I bunt down 1B just about every time I'm up. Everyone in the infield knows where I'm going. The throw from my bunt to 1B is never more than 10 feet. I get on safely almost every time. I can't remember the last time I ever got out bunting down 3B.

You have to be retarded.. I know that doesnt count. But that means there are maybe 3 times all tournament that you are actually bunting to get on, as opposed to 10 or so for a lead off batter.. it's a lot easier to get on 3 times then it is 7 out of 10 or better, especially with the added pressure of leading off

Tigger, let me explain it for a third time for you to understand. If I get up 10 times in a tournament, I typically make it safe to base at least seven of those times and advance all runners. I might get out by sac bunting three times. So by y'alls dumb kickball stats I normally kick 1.000, but I look at that as a very disappointing tournament where I only kick .700.

Ok how about this..

A good lead off should be leading off games and getting on 90% of the time . LEADING OFF GAMES

Any other player should be able to bunt and get on 2/3 times on average for his career or they should not even be considered good at all. I say lifetime average because sometimes great players have bad games or tournaments.

the .700 thing i brought up was talking about 8 kickers in a row doing it in one tournament. That is tough to beat.

You are so full of it. No one bats .700 bunting up 1.. I don't care if you're usain bolt, it's not possible against good competition, especially when they know you are going down 1

If someone goes down 1(with 0 outs) to move runners to 2nd and 3rd and get thrown out then its a sac in my book. does not help or hurt average

Only a sac with 0 outs before at bat and runner must make it to 3rd

I'm still calling BS on that if you are bunting up 1 everytime. DP wouldn't get on .700 if he was batting 3 and he is a hell of a lot better and faster then u..

Im fat and slow and batted over .700 in every tournament i have played in except 1 (tko III. had a terrible day at plate)

If i had the speed some of you all had i think it would be so easy.

DP is faster than me, but I'm a very accurate bunter.

I can't remember the last time I ever got out bunting down 3B.

Maybe its b/c you have inferior catchers up there in Va...

I'm 4-4 against Fully Loaded. In our first game against Fully Loaded y'all only had two baserunners all game.

Actually in the first game we played I threw you out one time so you were 1 for 2. And the second game we played in Va you went 1 for 2 off Corey, thats if we are counting your supposed hit on your encroachment call. So that would make you batting .500

Those are the facts...

I was told by a pretty credible source that you went 0-3 against Meatballs in SFKO. So does that mean you were perfect the rest of the day?

Incorrect.

Your source isn't very credible. I was 2-3 against the Meatballs--with one "sac" bunt...which counts as an out in my books.

Yes, as Kevin pointed out, I (through my source) am incorrect.

Poor JimmyBeans
My retirement spokesman, sduncan will be handling all questions related to this topic.

Yeah just how i would do it.

Meatballs dc for example top 8 kickers all kicked .700 or better for the day and only 4 of the top 8 kickers where defensive starters.

If anyone can kick .700 or better for an entire day in a tournament i really dont care about anything else, I would pick them.

I think .700 is pretty damn low for a bunter. I've never kicked under .700 in any tournament at the #3 spot.

hahahahahaha! u r the biggest liar ever and this proves it even more..u went what 0-3 against us..well its great u kicked n amazing average against shit competition but when it counts u suck more dick than a dirty hooker!
