I don't know what will take place this Wednesday night when the Beachslappers play Riff Raff for the 7th consecutive time in Riptide, but it should be pure entertainment!!

i know riff raff is missing players for this game, but after watching the absolutely pathetic display they put on against fully loaded last week, a bunch of elementary school children can beat them. Easy fly balls were dropped, plays werent executed..it was a disaster..just stating the facts..sedlak you need to step it up if you are going to call teams out..just saying

i dont need to worry about hey whoa bc its a fun team..i only signed up bc i had nothing to do on wednesday nights in case i get out of work early..as far as showing up on time, mk told me the game was at 8 and didnt realize it started at 7..he wouldve been late too if he didnt show up to ref..hey im not the one who said binge was as good as steve at third..

you did hype your game last week with fully loaded and going by your overall comparison (pre game) you would have thought it was going to be a good game..unfortunately it was nothing in the vicinity of a close game..

even without mk, our hey whoa team can beat beachslappers..u just better hope u dont play us, because if you guys lose to us, you'll lose all rights to meatball nation president and all speaking priveleges forever..

The sad thing is i think I would take Hey whoa over probably 80% of the teams in VA from what I saw.. I'll give PA they can play and if situation beat them and Meatballs (I know meatballs beat themself in that one) i guess I have to give them credit, but VA teams in general did not impress me. I still think the two florida teams were the best down there.. I woulda liked to play PA again with everyone watching so the refs couldnt give them the game on a silver platter.. as for tomorrow who cares. Riptide is gay. Fully Loaded is now 0-2 against Panik. Interesting that after two losses you can come to the conclusion that Fully Loaded is the better team. Also, I'm not sure you can make an accurate assessment of VA teams since you were 1-1 on the day against VA teams. The only team from VA that you beat was mostly made up of people that had never played kickball before.

The Situation was good enough to beat Meatballs and Panik (two teams that FL is 0-2 against), so clearly you have to give them their due. Sloppy Mommas beat The Situation, despite never playing together before. They were a very solid team that day. Tiki had a rough tournament. They were missing some key players again. I've pretty much given up on them ever performing in tournaments like they do in league play.

when tiki has been to tourneys it is with out some key players that they have every thursday in shore. i say this b/c i am not on tiki...i am on sloppy but played with tiki on saturday. the guys are probably some of the most all around athletic people that play in our area. i play soccer against MANY of them on the regular. TKO was unfortunate but they should never just be thrown aside....or maybe they should. the second they are underestimated they pull the upsets they have in the past.

If we get the correct call and they credit Steves catch at 3rd as an out if I remember right we woulda won the game 2-0. There were 2 other calls that were terrible too. As far as the situation goes, and even Wu Tang for that matter, when meatballs was finally clicking they destroyed everyone they faced, except us. If not for being blessed with bad luck when it comes to seeding, I feel that we woulda played meatballs in the finals.. and I'm pretty sure the meatballs will agree with that

Funny that you'd run straight to blaming the refs after everyone else on the boards has praised the job the refs did. Sounds like excuses. You failed to score enough runs to beat us for the 2nd straight time.

Also, who are you to say that Meatballs was clicking against you guys? I watched a good portion of that game and I thought that the Meatballs still looked to be struggling offensively. It seemed like the Meatballs didn't start clicking until the Semis.

As for the seeding, you were the third seed. Unfortunately, the field was deep enough that the two finalist teams ended up the 5th and 6th seeds. You can't hide from competition in a field that deep. I'm sorry ya'll didn't do as good as you thought you'd do. My recommendation is to start practicing more, and whining about the refs less.

our offense was clicking all day long.....Now our baserunning was horrible. We ran our selves out of innings at least 5 times in pool play. Got thrown out at 3rd, over running 2nd, and at home atleast 4 times..

How did they get screwed?

Four shitty calls by the same 1st base ref that blew calls in our game...

First inning: Lead off guy bunts down third base line, I pick up the ball, spin and throw to first to clearly get the guy out by at least a half of step... guy is called safe
Fifth inning (the only inning they score btw): We get the lead off guy to pop up to steve at third who slides in and clearly catches the ball. Problem is that both refs don't say anything except "I didn't see it". Then Trey pulls the stunt I was talking about in the other topic and draws an encroshment on me. My memory after that is bad on the inning but I remember another poo call on a play at first. Bottom line is they scored 3 runs on us that inning and shouldve scored none.

I know I know, its easy to sit here and blame it on the refs, but other than the 1st base ref in our game against Panik and meatballs, the reffing was awesome.

Our offense didn't click till the elimination rounds when jimmybeans played like the young gun jimmybeans...5-6 4 runs 2rki scored first to home twice...all while battin in the 8 spot in the lineup
