Need Quality Refs for Memorial Playoffs -- 11/8/2008

Hey everyone-

This is a plea for volunteer head refs for the DC Memorial Playoffs. Games will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, November 8, 2008. We can't provide you with compensation but we can afford you free admission to our rocking End of the Season Party later that night at 18th and Red (usually a $20 fee for non-division players) as well as the ability to scout out some quality teams/players that may end up travelling in the near future. This should be a fun day of kickball from the (arguably) strongest division in DC. Although games start at 12:00 noon we would really appreciate volunteers for the later games (semifinals and finals set to begin around 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, respectively). We have really appreciated volunteer refs in the past as many of our current head refs are on competitive teams that will possibly still be playing late in the tournament and also having outside ref avoids any claims of bias, etc. Send me a personal message if you are interested.
