Hoboken3b wrote:Retract that statement. DC 2007, I believe you played for a certain lime green team that defeated Hoboken 1 (the other team) and ticked them off in the process.

AngryBlack wrote:Dematus.. Your not welcome in hoboken!

Hoboken3b wrote:Salty as hell. Most of that team from DC plays for Pork Slap who we got in the first round. Last time I played against them in the playoffs it got ugly, real ugly which I will not get into in a public forum. The Recess Rambler was there that day if he would like to discuss in his weekly blog.
about that.
AngryBlack wrote:... Dematus... You can't play in hoboken! No bunting in this league so your game is limited.. Also.. We roll the ball under hand so everyone gets a fair opportunity to have fun. That's what our hoboken league is all about... We are a community!

AngryBlack wrote:... Sorry.. Chris is on the roster... Without Chris that team would lose by 69 runs--point blank! Their coach is on my morristown team and almost cost us the game about 4 times... I had to threaten him twice because of his terrible defense! He drinks too much! He parties too much! His behaviour on the kickball field is unacceptable!

Hoboken3b wrote:Warren might be the best player in the league. The guy is flat out nasty. Plus the rest of their outfield is sick.
I think Neil and Tony are somehwhat equal pitchers, although I have never faced Neil. I think I would have more problems with Tony because he has more speed on his picth along with spin. Neil is more crafty and changes his delivery.

Hoboken3b wrote:Geff has developed a solid game plan for Pork Slap. I'll give him credit, he is focused this week. Pork Slap may beat us but we are just out to have fun, it's kickball. Please let's focus on the other games. How good is Balls Deep? Some people say they have the best 3rd baseman/leadoff hitter in the game.
Hoboken3b wrote:If you were going to put together an "All Playoff" 1st and 2nd team how would it look? This is my team assigning positions to males but not females because these females are that good and I wouldn't want to assign the catcher spot to any of them. Let's factor in that the females would be playing ss, 2b, short field, and catcher.
1st Team: 2nd Team:
Female: Rachel (3 Piece) Smitty's Wife (Balls Deep)
Female: Kelly (Pork) Lisa R (3 Piece)
Female: Denise (Pork)
Chris.. Why is Neil not in this catergory?
Gen (The Runs)
Female: Jessica (Balls Deep) Sam (The Runs)
1b: Tino (The Runs) The 1b from Pork Slap
P: Jon (3 Piece) Tony (Pork)
3b: Marquis (3 Piece) The Guy from Balls Deep
Of: Warren (Pork) Ben (The Runs)
Of: Mike (The Runs) Jameson (Balls Deep)
Of: DJ (Kicking Game) Tony (3 Piece)
Of: Darragh (Pork) Frank (Booze on First)

Geff definitely should get some credit for his focus this season...and a full roster each week! Balls Deep has potential...as long as they show up for playoffs this time around and don't forfeit
Hoboken3b wrote:I stated it above. I have always played with Neil and never faced him. We worked well has a pitcher/3b combo. In my eyes, Jon is the most dominating pitcher in the game. I saw him against Pork Slap and he was amazing. Tony pitched nasty against us combining speed and movement and I feel that the distance between the mound and the plate is shorter this year, or maybe I'm just getting old, and the speed presents a ton of problems for people. You have the three best pitchers in the league and if you asked 10 different people you would get different answers. Again, I never faced Neil and most likely won't get a chance this season. We once had a bet with him pitching and me kicking and could never come to an agreement on how the bet would play out.
