Concert in the Park Tomorrow (7/15@ 8pm)

Postby SnackPack » July 14th, 2008, 11:54 am

Any kickballers care to explore what Central Park holds outside of the Hecksher Mud Pits? Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 8:00 PM I'm going to the New York Philharmonic in the park.

Just wanted to invite some of my favorite peeps to join me and a few friends for concert on the Great Lawn. I'll be at there around 6:30 tomorrow to set up shop but the actual concert doesn't start til almost 8 (note it gets PACKED by 7:15). We are having a potluck style picnic prior and during the concert.

Also, there are usually fireworks once the concert is finished. The past two years have been amazing. Just wanted to throw it out there. call me if you want to meet up with us... the more the merrier :)

This years concert will include:
Alan Gilbert, Conductor | Lang Lang, Piano
Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1
Beethoven: Symphony No. 4
Sibelius: Finlandia

I shall be there with some friends around 7:15p on the SE corner of Central Park West at 86th Street near the B/C train stop. It should be packed like it always is.
This message comes to you fresh and piping warm, courtesy of our friends at "Hot Karl's Septic Systems".
