A lot happens each week to differentiate teams from each other in the party rankings... pre-gaming, on-the-field fun, post-game fun at Tiki, and participation at the karaoke brunch all make a difference. Here's how things shook out after week 1...
*** Keep in mind, not only do I only know about half the league, but I was hammerfaced on Friday and Saturday, so if you were around and I don't know about it... feel free to be upset. I really don't care.
10. Booze On First - Who?
9. Diesel Train - Maybe I'm blind, and I was definitely drunk, but I don't remember seeing you guys last week.
8. I got 99 Problems But A Kick Ain't One - I apologize if my memory is just very bad, but I don't remember seeing anyone but Shannon at the pre- or post-game. Then again, this is a team of newbies so I wouldn't have remembered anyway.
7. Fire Crotches - Way to let the bro bags play volleyball rules, but you refuse. It's summer. Have a little fun, eh? Also, Sprinkles... Chris and Paul know how to kick balls as well as they know how to fondle them. Them was bunts.
6. Danger Zone - Pregame presence: Noted. Otherwise... I didn't see you at all.
5. Three Kicks Mafia - When I went to the half of the bar near the taco bar that didn't exist, all I could see was 3KM. They didn't show to the pregame or brunch, but their bar presence, as I predicted, is significant. Let's do more of this instead of leaving early to get baked, shall we?
4. MooseKnucklers - We had a small presence at the pregame. Fine. We cared way too much about kickball during the game (because we played train wreck... the one team that we want to beat). We had a good showing at the bar, but most of the team kind of chilled up by the dj booth not dancing. At least we had fun... and then only 2 of us showed to karaoke brunch, and only "sang" one song. Y'all know me, still the same O.G....
3. Alive & Kickin' - A&K had a considerable amount of Karaoke participation, which was great. Their presence at the bar post-game was impressive too... from what I can remember. Apart from that, there's nothing special. They showed up consistently throughout the weekend, which not everyone else can say. They deserve #3.
2. Train Wreck - You guys were surprisingly fun on the field, you pre-gamed like champs, and I think your participation in karaoke brunch totaled to more than half of the songs. One of your team members threw up about thirty times before leaving the fields. I'm impressed. Your participation at Tiki was a bit lame, and I'm still really upset about the taco bar (when you have the pres, vp, waka rep and bar owner on your team, this is 100% attributed to you)... but even so, you deserve the #2 spot, if not #1.
1. Brocery Bags - I can hear Train Wreck complaining from the whole way out in west creek that the Bro Bags didn't even show up to the karaoke brunch. You're right, they didn't. That's because Yoder was forcibly removed from ChaCha's on Friday, and Sean threw up in a trash can on the Bandito's dance floor. The rest of the team was at both of these locations, dancing their pants off. They ended up all waking up still drunk at 2PM on Saturday. The Bro Bags pregamed (Yoder even won a game of king of the hill) and they played volleyball rules in their game. Side note - firecrotches refused to play volleyball rules, but Bro Bags did it anyway, and still beat the shit out of them.
