i was talking with fro last night and the general consensus is that Third String All-Stars have truly become the reincarnation of HTCK, complete with a division that hated us before the season even started, black shirts, penny wars, girls getting run over, and me being asked (by myself and my teammates at least, not by the leadership) not to ref ever again. if it weren't so sad, it'd be hilarious! now if only we could get fans to come to our parties with cookies... hmmm...

I wouldn't say "reincarnation". More of a spin-off with a different location. Kinda like CSI:Miami.

The time when Mauler was mauled by the girl on the pink team for "incidental" contact at 2nd base. He was then suspended for a game the following week.

Or what about the time JohnnyBlaze wore a mask w/ Mauler's face on it before he was scheduled to ref. And then Bonnie relieved him of his reffing duties.

can't wait for fro to tell you all about our misadventures down here. i've been polite and not spread them all over the mb here because it would have truly far-reaching consequences and ultimately make many people miserable but ask him in person or catch me at the next tourney. really, wow. we truly followed in your footsteps.

I've been slacking

One year ago these past 2 last weeks:

July 15th: The division board despite objections mainly by us, declares a ban on bunting. Instituting a HHK style bunt-line they changed WAKA rules to try to keep the division more fun. Prior to the game HTKC members email the WAKA rep and various other high-ups shedding light on the boards rogue actions. HTKC loses week 1 to THAT Team. The bunt line is deemed illegal and is removed from the rules. The game however stands.

July 22nd: Because of the bunt-line fiasco, WAKA Rep Jenzi has to come to the game to watch over this division's antics. HTKC plays Just the Tip. At some point in the game, baserunner 'Da MAULER accidentally runs into the 2nd basewoman. She declares that he gropped her and she starts wailing away at him. Jenzi suspends Mauler and psycho-2nd-base-girl for at least 1 game.
