Fifth Annual Kickball Tournament, benefiting the Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless and covering all the bases – fun, food, charity, and all-day KICKBALL! The competition is growing fast – from nine teams and 130 players in 2006 to over 22 teams and nearly 350 players in 2009. 2010 will be the biggest yet! Bring family and friends for a full day of fun! Enjoy food, music, face painting and much, much more—all for a good cause.
Everyone has a chance to win more through the PLAY FOR GOOD raffle, held in conjunction with the tournament. This year prizes include an Apple iPad, a Kindle Reading Device, restaurant gift certificates and much, much, more!

Team Kickball365 roster is overflowing. We'll have somewhere in the 13-17 neighborhood, even though I've been told we can only play 15 at a time. We'll have to pull names from a hat to determine who gets benched each game.

I did love the "no, it's not in the rule book. It was in an email that was sent out just to us refs." Good thing it was for charity or I probably wouldn't have let that one go quite so easily.

Refs who strictly enforce rules at charity tournaments are obviously too uptight.

Even the base refs agreed he was using the wrong book. The 3B ref pulled up the PDF on his phone to show the homeplate ref. Maybe the homeplate ref was just happier with his head way inside his posterior orifice.
