Last year 2 weeks out of the SoFL tourney there were a lot of trash talking, pool predictions, team break downs and most importantly tons of entertaining traffic on the MB.

What happened to this year? We are 1 1/2 weeks away and I can hear myself fart

I am full of Sh*t and am only good for a smarta$$ comment, so someone take control and start breaking down each pool. Scouting reports for each team, who will win and why, who will be the funnest team in the pool, etc.....

It's an open tourney, everyone will try and get ringers for their team. It's expected.

So LIU is no more special then the FL team trying to get Cali players. Or MIR getting Frosty Ball players or MIH taking on the Meatballs name.

NHF is a group of people that play kickball for fun. Our pool is going to be interesting. Your Mom is the best team in Orlando, Cobra Kai is the best team in Jacksonville, Balls Deeper may be the best team in South Florida. The other team I have no information on. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Cobra Kai played Balls Deeper tough in Vegas 2-1. Cobra Kai looked impressive in pool play going 2-1 and got upset by a Salt Lake team in single elim. If Your Mom added players they will be even better than they already are. I looked at the Balls Deeper scouting report that was sent to me and their line-up looks very impressive. For NHF, we will see. Marquis and I were going to just take a Hoboken team down to Florida until we had a few players from NYC reach out to us and we cut a few Hoboken people. On paper, we have a very solid defense that should make for some close games. On offense we have some speed at the top of the line-up but that doesn't mean sh$t if guys can't get their bunts down. We also have some guys who can kick away but again you won't know that until the actual game is played.

What is the goal for NHF? Win it all? Get to the final 8? Knock out LIU and/or DF?

Asking if our goal is to knock out LIU and DF is just foolish. If we beat DF or LIU in the first round of elimination and lost our next game do you think we would be happy? I don't like to lose and haven't lost a competitive kickball game since last July. Our focus right now is to prepare our team to win our first game and come up with a game plan for pool play. After that we will see what happens. What team doesn't want to win this tournament?

I don't think there's a ream that doesn't want to win this tournament, however there are probably several teams who realize it would practically take a miracle so they have set goals a little lower, such as making it to elimination or not going 0-4 on the day.

You play to win. Duh. But look at Riff Raff, they were the happiest team in Vegas to lose in the Semis. Every team wants to win the tourney, but look at the others last year who used the Open tourney to accomplish their goal of FC Champs.

Would F.U.C.K.like to win the whole thing. We better. But will we. Hell no. Are we using this tourney to get some experience and try to introduce competitive kickball to AZ and CT. Hell yes!

So it sounds like you put together a team that you think can win the whole thing. Enough said. You could have just said take home the trophy!

I'll promise you one thing, if we get knocked out I will be taking my drinking of jungle juice as serious as I did evey game I played in the tournament and if you don't know me I take sports VERY SERIOUS.

Relax's goal is final 4. We got to final 8 in vegas and then pooped ourselves giving up 7 runs. We had a set back cause our starting C and leadoff kicker had to work last minute. But that doesn't change our goal. Gotta improve each tournament. I'm excited for riff raff they seem real real talented.

No I'm talking about for SoFL. He was paid and ready but now he just found out last week he's got to go to cali to shoot the commercial he made.

Riff Raff should be a good gauge to see where you are in competitive kickball. Especially, since you get to play them in pool play before they have the opportunity to gas and cramp up!

Really sucks. Because if it is the same catcher that played against WKYB's he is the reason they shut down their offense. WKYB was bunting short and he was eating them up.

He definitely was, but I'm not worried, he missed a whole season and we don't lose too much other than a good kicker and depth our back up is definitely faster and quicker just doesn't have as much experience but we've also been getting in 2-3 prac/wk with him there so he'll be ok

Seriously, it's not like there's been snow on the ground since October. There's been plenty of time to practice prior to the past few weeks.

CT did hold something that could be called a practice on Saturday. 23 degrees and all... Okay, that's a lie. It was 22 for the first hour of practice

yeah, but with the windchill it felt like it was a balmy 8 degrees outside.

We played kickball last week and it was a chillin 61 degrees. Without the sun out, I had to wear a jacket

I get the fishing Tweasy... But I don't get what you're saying... Who are you predicting to win the tourney? Sorry if I missed it somewhere else.

I am just saying that no one will run the table.

So if you are undefeated coming out of pool play, you will lose in single elimination to a team that lost one in pool play.

Just saying this tourney is too deep!

Last year's tourney was pretty deep, too, but it ended up with 2 undefeated teams in the finals. Some (:couch:Dematas:couch:) would even say it ended with 2 undefeated teams.

Let me rephrase it. Undefeated with zero ties.

In 2009 half the tournament winners won every game they played that day.
