I was told this weekend that players will be able to switch BACK to a circuit team one time this year.. The way it was explained to me was a player could play for Flying V, then Panik, and go back to Flying V.. Is this correct?
Any workout program that does not show results after 1 week must suck...

Not unless Panik dissolves.

no, you are allowed one move between registered teams per season, unless your team folds. Theoretically you could make it work though. For instance someone plays for the V and then later plays for Panik (but Panik is not registered as a Circuit team at that point) and then goes back to the V.

I heard you wouldn't be able to do that if the team registered at any point for the Circuit.

If that player moved back to the V prior to Panik registering it would work. Teams that are not registered technically don't have a roster so that's the loophole. It would require collusion between both teams and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Admin shot it down if someone tried it.

This doesn't seem like the kind of thing McCoy would go for. Unless I've misunderstood his posts.

Using us and Panik was just a hypothetical example...

I think there should be a little bit of leniency on this rule in that scenario. Player X plays for Team A, which registers for the circuit following a tourney. Team A cannot make the next tourney, but Player X wants to play with Team B, which is not registered for the circuit and may not intend to. Following the tourney, Team B wishes to register for the circuit, but Player X wants to remain on Team A for the season. In the current rules, I believe either the team cannot register or the player would have to play with Team B the rest of the way. I believe when the team joins, the player should have the option of playing with either team, but it should still consume their allotted transfer for the year. Though it would be next to impossible to enforce, I think this should only apply if Team B truly does not plan on joining the circuit up to the tourney that Player X plays with them.
To Pullout or not to Pullout. That is the question.

Nothing has changed in 2012. If you play on FlyingV at SFKO and they register as a Circuit Team you be a "player of FlyingV" ... However, if you then you go to Panik that will be your one transfer. You can NOT go back to FlyingV.

However, if FlyingV decides to go as an "open" team to any other Circuit Event (i.e., they decide they don't want to claim Circuit Points).

The Circuit Cup Championship Guidelines addresses this at http://www.kickball365.com/thecircuit/circuit-cup/guidelines/
