Maggie laughed. A.Rod didn't. J.Rod asked for an explanation. But I successfully used "cheddar" as promised.

To be fair, A.Rod hadn't been on the MB in a while and didn't read this thread.

Good times though!

I have never played apples to apples. Is this a fun game?

It's a lot of fun if you have a large group of friends and people are in a "boisterous" mood. It's kinda boring if it's only a few people and/or they're sober.

It's always a good time with those NY'ers.

We also played up the river, down the river where I had to consume two beers before the start of the next game because of the last card.

It's one of the best card drinking games to play because no one really has to be paying attention except the dealer (I'm somewhat of a game nazi and hate when people aren't paying attention/ready when its their turn/etc.).

We will play it when you are in NY!

Next time I'll teach Janimal. It's kind of like Kings but with dice instead of cards. Always a good time.

yes, i too hate it when people aren't paying attention. you're ruining the flow of things, people! i have that same problem with present-opening situations. people opening out of order, people opening while other people are opening so we don't get to pay attention to what each person got, people not paying attention to the fact that they're next so we're all screaming at them as they get up to go smoke a cigarette or something stupid like that... yargh.

I woke up and on the coffee table is a mac store genuis bar business card with Cheddar written on it. It is the only card on the table. I looked at it, kind of laughed and then jack started asking me why you kept using the word Cheddar. I explained it to him. He laughed. The end. :)

Actually, they revised the trilogy just for the MB. It's now 69.69 jigawatts, and the car goes outatime when it reaches 69 miles an hour.

Speaking of Back to the Future, my roommates and I were doing a Back to the Future marathon before the Superbowl and one of the turned our attention to the YouTube video: Brokeback to the Future. It's pretty funny. Anyway else see this?

(I'm at work, so YouTube doesn't show up for me, but I think I did this right:)

The first one is the best.. but Part 2 is probably one of the best sequels of all time.

Back to the Future is one of the best sequels/group of movies. I must say that I rank the Lethal Weapons on the top of the list

Lethal Weapon is good, but I wouldn't put it anywhere near the top. Back to the Future is definitely up at the top.

The Rocky movies are all great too, with the exception of 5... we don't speak of 5, ever. Even the new one, Rocky Balboa wasn't bad.

Rocky Balboa was what 5 COULD'VE been... but wasn't. 1 and 4 were the best.

1.) BTTF Trilogy
2.) Rockys 1-4 & 6
3.) Haven't decided yet

One of Drago's lines was in Russian. If you can quote that then you've seen that movie too many times... I pity da fool who don't respect Clubber Lang!

How about Indian Jones and the last crusade for great sequels.

I think Indy definitely goes in the top, maybe i might even consider it for the third spot.

Drago would have killed Clubber Lang. Drago had the roids, Clubber just had the rage.
"I will break you"
"if he dies, he dies"
The third quote was subtitled, but something about "I win for me" as he picks up his coach by the throat and throws him away while staring down the Gorbachev look-alike.
