Looking for a K4TK Team

I am looking for a team to play on in the K4TK tournament. I was on the K365 Road Team but it fell through. I would like to join a competitive team that likes to have a good time, in that order. I am ultra competitive and will be flying in from Kansas City so I just want to make sure my time is not spent on a team just looking to drink during the games. I assume most teams will be competitive so I am not too worried.

I have played multiple seasons a year since 2004 and play CH/P/1B. I am the captain for my team and we went FC2010 and made it out of pool play (El Guapo). I don't have blazing speed but I have enough to get most jobs done. I can place bunts well and can kick deep. Field awareness, arm strength, and never say die attitude are what I do best. I am willing to play any/all positions. Since I am a captain, I will understand my place on your team and will do what is asked of me. I just want to win.

If you have a team or know of teams looking for people, I would appreciate a heads up.

Nothing? Really?

I can tell you this much. If I am going to be paying for a flight and hotel from KC, I can hold my own.

Outside of a representative from the group that organizes this event, who only comes on like once a week, I don't know how many if any of the teams who have participated in the past come on the message boards.

right, i don't think it's anything personal. i just doubt any of the competitive people from here are going.
