The being hated statement comes from conversations I had with various members of the New Haven kickball community.
Because, you know, it's cool to hate the team that is winning. And it's cool to tell them they take the game too seriously when your team is trying as hard as you can but you still can't beat 'em. Cause, you know, IJK.
