Not to compete with K365 as our tournaments are all slow pitch rules, here is our kickball schedule for the up-coming year. If any teams want to check out our tournaments, give me a yell (303.325.7388 or mike@denversportandsocialclub.com) and I'll get ya going.

April 6th and 7th, Friday Night & Saturday - Spring back to the 80's Tournament (party on Friday Night!)

May 19th, Saturday - Late Spring Tournament

July 28th, Saturday - Summer Tournament

September 1st, Saturday - Late Summer Tournament

October 20th, Saturday - Champions Tournament

*please note location will rotate mainly between the following parks: Infinity Park, City of Cuernvaca Park, City Park, Barnum East Park.

Come play in Denver's ONLY regular kickball tournament series. Have the bragging rights as the best team in Denver by playing the best competition!

Fun and social team just looking for a good time? We got you covered too - you still get at least 4 games - and a full day of kickball fun for ~ $15 a player with a minimum roster!

Each Tournament unless noted otherwise is a one day tournament (usually on Saturdays).

Cost is $150 per team with early registration (please note that each player on your roster is required to have a membership with our club - $5.95 covers a player for a full year.)

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

3 game round-robin for seeding
Break for lunch
Every team qualifies for single-elimination bracket.
Guaranteed at least 4 games - WITH a paid ref.

New to this season - the DSSC Tournament Cup!

Teams will earn points based on the following criteria:

Participation
==
10 - for each tournament that a team participates in
*an additional 10 points will be awarded if a team participates in 4 scheduled tournaments (playing in 4 tournaments will result in 50 total points)

Pool Play for Seeding
==
2 - for each round robin (pool play) win.
1 - for each round robin (pool play) tie.
0 - for each round robin (pool play) loss.
*note if a team is scheduled for a fourth game in a 3 game round robin due to an odd number of teams in the tournament, that team will score points on the 3 most favorable results (if 4 wins in pool play, only get credited with 3 wins for pool play).

Bracket Round
==
4 - for each "bye" round in elimination bracket.
4 - for each bracket win

Championship Game
==
15 - for 1st place
8 - for 2nd place

The team with the highest point total at the end of the scheduled tournament season will be awarded with the DSSC Championship Cup for the year 2012! (Yes that is a trophy!)

We love these cheap, local tournaments! Great fun for us. However, please chalk up these tournaments title to the "big fish in little pond" metaphor. Any teams on this board would win these tournaments.

Mike - thanks for the post! We're always supportive of tournaments of any kind (ours or anyone else's) - there should always be a kickball offering to match any team's skill level/travel preference/fun goals. And we'll support anyone who wants to travel for kickball (that's a win for all of us).

Also, you have Tom and Chelsea out there now ... even if you don't get them for kickball, they are both incredible at soccer ... just saying ...

Dice. won the 2012 Denver Sport and Social Club Spring Kickball Tournament this past weekend; finishing 5-0 and outscoring our oponents 66-18! (Had to allow some runs to prevent 12-run ruling teams before full 6 innings a few times. It felt good to get back on the field after a winter away. Looking forward to both our WAKA and GoKickball leagues starting up in the next two weeks!
