This needs to be locked up soon. The sooner the better. Is Kate doing it? I know she's having surgery soon. The party needs to be locked in place before she goes under the knife and is incapacitated for 2-3 weeks.

I was just wondering, because I think some of us are going to get a hotel room instead of going back to the Peninsula. Would like to have a room within stumbling distance to the after party.

Last I heard, Jon and Kate were trying to get it locked up by this weekend. Last thing we need is another situation like last year where we tied up the party locations at the last minute. Expect it to be at the oceanfront somewhere.

Yeah, last year was a nightmare. I kept trying to get Kate to get the Shaka's guy to put everything in writing and he kept avoiding any kind of commitment until the last minute. Then he decided he'd waited long enough for us to have no other options and he proposed some terrible drink specials (something like $3 draft beers for two hours) instead of what had been discussed.

I'd hate for VBKO to have to deal with that this year.

90% sure it is @ calypso on 11th street. bryan is calling me at 4 before i have a wedding thing to do. either way i have diesel on the back burner. it is fine and good to go.,

I like your thinking. Hopefully these party locations get locked down soon because I'm flying across the country for this. I get in Thursday too so we should all try and find a spot to meet up, like an early bird meet and greet bar crawl or something.

Our league sponsor bar isn't too far from the airport (7.5 mi) and it's on your way to the Oceanfront, where your hotel is located. I'd recommend stopping by Knuckleheads, throwing bows with some bikers, listening to live music, and shot-gunning $1.50 PBRs.

I'm genuinely concerned that after your surgery, you'll be too hopped up on meds to care about anything but watching Reading Rainbow reruns as you drool onto a pillow. I want a sweet After Party. Calypso will be a great spot! Get on it before you develop your drug addiction.
