I think that "competitive players" would much rather travel to a competitive league on Thursday night if given the option. If they live closer to York, the chances are slim they are coming over to VB on a weeknight anyways.
I don't think we need to find the only free night, more like which night gives us a good chance to get the most players. I think Thursday is that night without a doubt. We have to start somewhere.

That's good info. I'd prefer Thursday nights.
I think labeling this the "competitive league" might not be the best marketing strategy if we are going to get this off the ground.
While we might get better competition in the league, it's also kickball at it's purest, and good preparation for travel ball. It can have a good social atmosphere without being a sanctum for underachievers to feel good about themselves.

I still think their rules are the most social in the area and I bet Panik would agree with me too considering they've played in all 3 of the local leagues here. I'm sure they'd prefer to play circuit rules on Thursdays over KLOHR.
