I think the most impressive win needs to be some sort of an upset. I feel like LIU and PA should have won those games and did. Foot Snipers upsetting Meatballs was shocking. The only issue with it, and it's a big one, is that it wasn't an elim game.

What were some other big elim upsets this year? What about Catalina Wine Mixers? Didn't they beat someone really good along the way? Or Cobra Kai? Who all'd they eliminate this year?

Our win over Sofa at the SDKO?!

Cobra Kai's two roads to the finals?

CWM over Sofa/WR?

Would both teams need to be registered Circuit teams for a game to be in consideration?

It was WR and that loss still stings. It was CWM's first time ever traveling and they definitely upset the clear favorites going in and it wasn't even close.

Just WR. The "Sofa" team at ABQ was a local team.

CWM over WR was big though. Mixers hadn't even played fast-pitch before :D

Just some off the top of my head:

Foot Snipers over Meatballs
Flying V over Panik Attack
Deja Vu over NYSH
Pounders over LIU
Fully Loaded over JKIDeep

Not all of these were major upsets by any means, but impressive nonetheless IMO.

I think Shockwave over NYSH was a bigger win than LIU over Shockwave. Lights Out gave that victory away. Slight bias here but Snipers over Meatballs was huge, would have been even bigger had we road that momentum into a few more wins. Meatballs loss in single elims that same tournament should probably be considered also. What about Sitch over Panik without Blake in DC? Considering Blake was not on the mound that is a pretty big win also.

I would say FL over JKI if Keith didnt get hurt in the game before and was able to pitch. Once he was out that game was pretty clear from the start it could go either way.

I dont think Foot Snipers ove Meatballs is in the discussion. It was game #1 of pool play.

This game needs to be a elimination game

Edge is right, he had to come out of the game in the second inning with no outs, and Daniel Reyes came up huge for us.

I know I'm being bias and haven't seen many of the Circuit games, but Fully Loaded's 4-3 win over Mushroom Stampers in JAX was a great game! MMS was up 3-0 in the bottom of the 5th. FL ties it in the 5th and won on a walk off bottom 6 all with 2 outs - and rode the momentum to a tournament victory!

Regardless, it's still pretty damn impressive to beat Panik in a finals of a Circuit tourney.

Remember, this is the award for "most impressive" not necessarily "biggest upset".

I guess so. I didn’t really see any games that stood out in single elimination throughout the year. At least games that I thought were bigger upsets than the ones I mentioned. Maybe JKIDeep over Meatballs at JKO. Most every game in single eliminations had two quality teams playing each other and either the favored team won or it was a matchup that either team could have won. I know they were pool play wins, but impressive nonetheless IMO.

At the time, cobra Kai had barely won anything. They were the 8th seed, and upset the top seeded home team relax in the first round at Lsko. I know it doesn't seem like an upset now but at that time, it was. It should be on this list.

^ That goes back to Relax getting a top 2 seed when they arguably didn't deserve it and then not having to play the other top seeded team in their pool, which helped them get 0 runs against and get the number one going into elims.

I'm not saying it wasn't a surprise that day, but in retrospect it would have been a more impressive win if Relax beat Cobra, not vice versa.
