Week 4 Scores

Postby You Know Me » August 1st, 2008, 8:25 am

Jager Bombs 2 Demons of Destiny 2. Nobody expected this tie, shows that either JB was off this week or the Demons are getting stronger. I think the latter.

Lookin to Score 3 Rubber Balls and Liquor 2. For a 3-1 team, L2S really should've beaten up on RBL, but instead gave us yet another unimpressive win.

Oznog 12 Moby Kicks 3. Oznog shows up, they win. They were screwing around in the last inning to give up the 3 runs.

Fannie Kickers 1 Ball Busters 0. FK wins their first game ever. I mean ever.

Friends with Benefits 8 Ahh Damn 0. AD got several calls from the inexperienced reffing crew. The score could've easily been 12-0. I really think the BB reffing crew has a chip on their shoulder towards FWB.

Scared Kickless 11 Team Awesome 3. TA rallied early, but just couldn't keep up with the mighty Asphalts.

That was clearly evident when I pitched and the ref just flat-out refused to call a strike. :x
Jenri: "Fro, I will completely marry you."
infernro: "johnny you are hands down my favorite out-of-towner this season."
Fresh: "Johnny -- i could fall in love with you"
flip c*up yours: "You should have known! Sorry, fro."

Yeah, but it was also 3 up, 3 down when you were on the mound, nice job, Fro.

Nonetheless, he got all three of them out and had the assist on all three.

I also can't believe that guy tried to run home on me. Seriously? I'm standing 25 feet away from home plate. Come on, now. Pretty weak for their only runner to get to 3rd base.

And he even hesitated before he ran home. But, hey, to watch you outrun him to home was priceless. :)

I didn't think he was really gonna do it. It looked like he had to work up the nerve first.

Seriously, I think that's the best we've played against KA, despite how the score looked. Aaron will probably argue this, but we definitely scared them coming out with 3 runs in the first inning. We just got defeated once they took the lead just like we did against FWB.

We try to avoid defeat by not letting the other team take the lead. The strategy has worked so far. ;)
