It has come to my attention that there is to be no more discussion of such acts in the HTKC forum. Anyone want to continue it here?

Zakk, there was a tvshow called Kindred the Embraced, which players of the larp Vampire: the Masquerade, which it is based off on, call it "Kindred the Embarassment".

I remember the top dude had a hot niece who flirted with one of gaurds, but not much else.

Yes. lol. I can go into detail about who they are and clans, but I realize I already seem like a huge loser. The show ended though because the actor that played the top dude died.

Have any of you read "Pop Goes the Weasel" from James Patterson? It's about a serial killer who uses dice to plan his next victim.

Back on topic -- never got into V:TM or V:TES. Somehow, some way, I stuck with just 1 CCG (Magic), avoiding Star Wars, L5R, MLB, countless others, and even the two games that eventually unseated M:TG as king of the card games' hill - Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh.

The owner at my longtime games haunt, Gator Games, said to me, when the Pokemon phenomenon was in full bloom that it was outselling Magic 3 to 1 ...

Pokemon... bah. My baby brother is into that now, I have to get him some cards for his 9th birthday in September.

Magic is so much more interesting, though i definitely haven't actually purchased any of the new updates for a good couple years. I'm a huge red deck with total annihilation and then I have my slivers deck which is such fun.

Ever play any tabletops? D&D, Exalted, Mage, BELM, Zombies?

What can I say ... I'm a gamer dork ... I have an addictive personality with games and hobbies ... I definitely embrace it ...

Besides ... what do you think my college buddies and I did on non-Raw/Smackdown, non-party nights anyways? With an NES, SNES, N64, and PSX in striking distance throughout most of school, well, go figure ...

N64 Goldeneye, anyone? Or Mariokart? I'm currently loving the Wii mariokart with the motorcycle options. NES duck hunt was great until my gun died.

It's actually a tabletop called "All Flesh Must Be Eaten". It's basically, pick a scenario of a zombie apocolypse. You're a regular person (I mean, you might have some specialities, but nothing magical at least as far as you and your character knows, that's up to the GM/ST). Being a regular person, with flesh, you are to be eaten. Now try and survive.

That's it... lol. It's an awesome one-shot game. My friends and I played that over a week we spent up in the Poconos, as we were trapped in the house during a blizzard. I played a character based on Paris Hilton. :geek:

Yeah, I stopped playing the game around 2004. Too many updates. I talked shop with the clerk at a games store up in Burlington earlier this year when I had a job interview up there to get the lay of the land and learn the 69 different mechanics they'd added since I left the magical cards ...

I had stock decks for every type (white weenie, red, black, green stompy, blue permission). My college roomie put together a pretty good 3 color counter-sliver deck. My best original deck ever was 3-color, blue/green/white (Tradewind Rider, Armageddon, any useful little critters, plus just enough counters), which got positively evil when it turned into an extended deck (more dual lands, Force of Will). Funnest deck I ever made was an artifact-heavy deck that could really pump out the mana and get Masticore/Colossues/Covetous Dragons out on turns 1-3 reliably. Still have the type 1 deck (power 9 and all) lying around -- really just need to sell that bad boy. I think it's still worth $1-2K, even though I've played with it instead of letting the cards sit in a binder.

Never got into tabletops ... didn't have the creative personality to be a good DM, and always admired those friends of mind who did. I still very much like Illuminati (fabulous game, surprisingly balanced - a must-play for conspiracy wonks) and Settlers of Catan (also easy to pick up, super-balanced). I have only watched Warhammer games and thought, "Besides the fact that I have no artistic intelligence, I don't think I could spend 6 hours painting this little tiny soldier who's going to get fire-breathed to death by a dragon 20 times his size ..."

(Sorry, folks ... apparently Lilpenny and I are having a gamer moment ...)

And yes, I heart Mario Kart Wii. Great game. Methinks I need to get some folks' friend codes.

I played the original SMK with Yoshi ... so I've stayed loyal to the dumb little green dinosaur ever since, even though the baby characters have a huge advantage. I use the Mach Bike.

I'm gold 50-150cc (all cups) and working on the Mirrors. My VR was as high as 5900, but after too many blue shell-blue shell-red shell losses (and lame opponents choosing my least favorite course, Wario's Freakin' Gold Mine), it's back down to 5200 ...

I am the God of Wii MarioKart. There is none greater.

I would show my awesomeness to any nay-sayers, but I am in Madden mode for the next 3-4 months.

Really? There's a game called Zombies? Tell me more! :P

:geek:

What kind of zombies are we talking about here? Voodoo, Romero, Russo, Fulci, etc. Fast or Slow?

My highest myVR was 8000, but I think it's under 7000 right now (I haven't played in close to a month). I hate the Gold mine and Toad's workshop.
