During Bonnie's trophy stealing meltdown debacle, I asked her if that round robin bullshit tourney was for the week and just changed it up to make it more interesting, or if it was for the whole thing. She shrugged it off. No real answer. Which is strange, because usually she has been so cool-headed and diplomatic this season. A real decision maker, if you know what I mean.
It was definitely a move aimed at giving another team a shot at getting the "Season Championship." Of course, we all know that HTKC pretty much put a very loud, and hard, smackdown on the division when it comes to flip cup. And kickball. And awesomeness. And good-lookingness. And popularity, MOing, having fun, being cool, and having better style.

I asked Scott the same thing. He would up saying that the whole flipcup thing was Jaime's gig.

Well - it wouldn't be a HTKC week w/o SOME sort of drama. Maybe this was the fitting end to our flipcup domination. They caught us off guard and made this one the one for all of the marbles.

I did protest... i just didn't make a big deal of it.

In person Jaime basiscally said this:

The first 9 weeks were the regular season. Week 10 was the playoffs and championship. In the original bracket.. everything was seeded based on everyone's regular season standings. So yes - we were the #1 seed.

HOWEVER - we ripped up the bracket because only 5 teams were there and the bracket would only yield 4 games.

I think my biggest issue (which I didn't verbalize last night because I have a non-confrontational personality) is that those rules were never conveyed to us in the bigging of the season. Shit - if I knew that the first 9 weeks were the "regular season" we wouldn't have put as much effort into them. Hell... there were multiple weeks during our 6 week winning stretch that i just wanted to go home and not stay at Union Jacks that late.

Really - what could we have done? They were going to do it their way because it was Anti-HTKC. This was essentially payback for us taking away their precious bunt line.

These pricks are laughing and smiling because UJ beat the "essablishment" but that's total BS. Just wait til Saturday when they announce the "Defending and Now 4-time Flipcup champion - Uncle Jesse" And WE'RE the establishment???

Like I said this board is BS and has no accountability from the top to the bottom. No body has a respect for any rules and no one can take a joke---ever. I did get to call Matt (squinty eyes) a douchebag after he was giving Marni a really hard time. Everyone is lucky they are dealing with a matue MAULER. MAULER is his early to mid 20's didn't care about what happened and wasn't anywhere near as nice.
