What about DC brother. You forget there is severe overlapp with DC and N. Va. Alot of KA people play on DC Teams. Try Liberty/ Memorial. Easily one of the most competitive in kickball period.

Team Awesome (formerly the Blazers with some GCAS players added) beat FWB in the regular season, and only lost 2-1 to Scared Kickless in the their regular season finale.

Man, you FWBers sure do know how to gang up on people on these boards. It was a good win, not the full match-up it could have been (which probably would have produced a different outcome), but a good win nonetheless. Now stop bragging about it.

Naw, weren't you the one that walked by FWB and said in a sarcastic tone "I never would've predicted these two teams in the Championship?" Or something along those lines. FWB had been so close for the last two seasons that it was bound to happen sooner or later. Also, FWB was definitely missing key role players more than Scared Kickless was on Saturday. Also, nobody ever said that we had an off-game against Team Awesome when we lost. You guys outplayed us that night just as you almost upset Scared Kickless yourselves. (Not that you said it, I just figured I'd try to throw TA some props) I even mentioned that the gap between KA/SK and the rest of Dominion has narrowed recently, not because KA/SK has gotten worse, but the rest of us have gotten better.

As far as ganging up on someone, we're just looking for some respect, and Aaron is trying to completely discount our title because they were missing a few players. I know he also mentioned some nice things in one post in this thread, but he's been standing by the 'We're all out for FUN' mentality. I have no argument there, as they were a lot of fun this season, but they were also playing to win every game, which they did, except the last one...

Oh I definitely said that. But I don't see what that has to do with anything! I still believe SK and FWB were the two best teams in Dominion this season, I'm just wanted to call attention to the fact that TA beat the team who won the cup! That's all. He he.

I would face anyof you all in any situation and take my odds against your kickers. I think some of the issue is that many of us on fwb resented the whole "if we lose, we were just playing for fun" crap. I love KA/SK. You guys bring out our best and because you r the only team in dominion that hasn't been afraid to show that you love winning, I have always respected you. Honestly, 90% of what I know about competitive Kickball and how I coach this team are based on the tactics I've observed watching and playing against u.

All of our games this summer (both of your teams) have been epic and it is safe to say that either team can beat the other on any given day with the overall edge still going to KA. That said, I cannot wait for next spring. Until then, the cup is safely displayed on my mantel.

Katy. U guys won in three innings and had the help of the worst officiating I have seen. But a win is a win. It definitely is not one to brag about though.

We beat gonzo and KA/SK in the same year and I am really proud of our team. But now it is time for FWB dodgeball and FWB volleyball to start. Hopefully Two more cups for our mantels!
