Now that is what I am talking about. I hope your team wins the tourney. A team built to compete on and off the field. this bring a tear to my eye.

Tell your crew to bring a pad and pen and take some notes. Maybe even a camcorder to show your peeps back home some footage.

Man, I wish. The Hardwick's in my family are: M.J. Hard, R.E. Hard, K.R. Hard, D.L. Hard (if that was me, I'd make a D.L. Hard-ley character...it'd be awesome)..., A.E. Hard, M.J. Hard and B.J. Hard...Actually, that's pretty awesome. Brian Joseph Hardwick...

But you have inspired me for my own children.

I think Ulysses Robert Hardwick (middle name is the great-grandfather's) could work. Good family name, good? civil war general...

I'd also be down with George Edward Thomas Hardwick... :D

I was very close to going to WashU to do a PhD a few years back. This makes me sad that I didn't do it.

"So what do you do?"
"Oh, well I'm a professional kickball player."
"I see. And do you have a day job?"
"PhD student."
"And you make money how?"

All the BCBs are disappointed we couldnt get our squad squared away prior. This time of the year is tough to get our people committed to anything but snow boarding in Tahoe. But we are fine tuning the over all team and dead set to bring it in Vegas in Oct! :-bd

I think the other St Louis Kickball league (SKA) is jealous we went down to FL and had a good showing. I will give some credit to the one SKA player that is on the team and certainly did his part to help us.

A big thanks to all STL kickballers who made it out to the tourney. I didn't have a chance to meet the captain (was playing SS for M2S) but I hope the team had fun at the tourney!

We had 70 plus teams last season, 10 divisions of seven. We are expanding to more than 140 teams this Spring. We have multiple locations throughout St Louis that we will be using. We have saturday kickball, sunday kickball, straight kickball, gay kickball. We cover it all! Its all good in St Louis.
