Tourney Circuit?

Postby Dematas » April 10th, 2009, 9:46 am

Can't the NKL partner with some of you guys for tourneys? Make the tourneys the same time every year at the same location so everyone knows the deal. FL, DC, and Vegas are three places I can think of that might work for most people. Three major tourneys a year, 3-4 months apart. FL in Jan, DC in May, Vegas in Sept. Idk, just a thought.

No TKO? Out of the three travel tournaments, the TKO has the deepest talent.

This year we have #1 MiR, #2 Frosty Balls, #4 Lock it Up, #5 The Others, #14 Crazy Kickers, #15 Alpha Omega, plus a Florida Roster that will likely be as strong as any Top Ten Power Poll team. When seven of your nine teams are Power Poll (type) teams, you know you're in for a good day of kickball. :-w

Ok, replace DC with TKO. I was just thinking that DC was more central for everyone, everyone loves FL in Jan, and everyone loves Vegas. I'm not sure about Crazy Kickers, Alpha Omega, not sure about Lock It Up being #4 and are you sure the FL roster team will be that good?

Meatballs, Hey Whoa!, M2S, Partially Screwed, Balls Deep, Tricky Bunnies, and D-Fire were all in FL. I'm not sure if I missed anyone, but it appears to be equal if not better competition, no?

Roughly 78% of TKO II teams will be Power Poll teams, versus roughly 44% at SoFL.

I just want tourneys that all the top teams can make, I would especially like to see one where all the top FL and VA teams were at. Maybe even double Elim as McCoy has talked about.

I didn't get a chance to see them play in the tourney, but I would imagine Riff Raff would also be on that list.
