Balls Deep beat two undefeated teams with a combined record of 19-0 to win the championship!! Arguably the best team in South Florida at this time - and they were the #5 seed in the tournament. However i'm still a Meatball supporter. My Beachslappers had a hell of a run and will be back. The 2010 winter Beach League is shaping up to be an incredibly talented league - looking forward to it.

congrats to balls deep! great group of guys and girls

also wanted to give a shout out to our refs for the semi final MK, Stu, and DP. They didn't miss a call all game long and, as always in these games, there were plenty of close ones

Yep 1B is REALLY hard to ref. way harder than home and where the most "ref training" should be focused in my opinion as we all know how key getting a lead off runner on is. where to stand, how to listen for the ball hitting the hands while looking at the base etc.

I honestly thought that this Final Four was the best reffed Final Four that I have ever seen. I don't think one call was missed. I would love to get that kind of reffing for the Bedrock Division...lol.

And Congrats to Balls Deep. You guys played one hell of a game and were the best team on the field that day. I can't wait to see what we have on our hands for Beach.
