Postby Odzihozo » February 23rd, 2010, 9:15 am

I have a good feeling about this season. I hear there will be a new rep. Our Waka rep last year sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also it looks like we will start on time.

Registration is open and the Captains from last year have the passwords.

There is a good chance we will be back at Gravelly Point but we cannot say for sure until next week.

See you all on the fields.

I haven't really seen enough of the division play to give a full run-down. Currently, Frontline is in 1st (though we should be in 2nd because Great Balls of Fire is also undefeated, but has fewer runs allowed), but we really should have lost our 1st game. We scored 8 in the final inning, thanks to a boatload of errors by the other team.

The Party Animals know what they are doing, but have some big holes. They lost last week to a team they should have beaten, except that team repeatedly picked on PA's weaker fielders. They should be 2-0 right now.

The team they played (McCann's Ballers) are 1-1, thanks to 2 monster innings, thanks to one epic collapse and one epic comeback. Not really sure which is a more likely representation of the team as a whole, though.

Browntown was missing Derrick when they played Frontline, which might be part of the reason they lost 2-1. Both teams played good defense in that game, though. Browntown should certainly be a contender in the division come playoff time.

I haven't gotten a look at Great Balls of Fire to tell if they are for real, or just played really bad teams.

Jacked Up is Tom & CJ's team. I know they have a bunch of randoms, but they seem to be doing well, and I imagine will be good enough to beat good teams
