Where are the predictions for tonight?

Postby the deebo » May 6th, 2010, 7:47 am

How am I supposed to know if we are going to win tonight or not without the predictions?

Off to the Flying Squirrels game... gotta keep it short.

Early Games

(11) TBD (0-4) vs. (T2) Pirate Hookers (3-0-1)

There’s not much to say about this game… it’s going to be ugly and everyone knows it.

Pirate Hookers 16, TBD 0

(9) Where’s My BJ (1-3) vs. (8) We Got the Runs (2-2)

A couple of struggling veterans team facing off tonight. I expect a close one in this game:

Where’s My BJ 4, We Got the Runs 3

(7) TNM (1-3) vs. (5) KIOS (3-1)

The season of KIOS continues in dramatic fashion… KIOS wins the game in the 5th inning:

KIOS 6, TNM 5

Late Games

(10) Toe Bashers (0-4) vs. (T2) Balls & Brews (4-0)

B&B stays undefeated with another impressive win:

Balls & Brews 9, Toe Bashers 1

(12) MC Team (0-4) vs. (1) Ligers (4-0)

Going to be another 10+ run Liger victory:

Ligers 12, MC Team 0

* GAME OF THE WEEK *
(6) Fist Pump Allstars (2-1-1) vs. (4) NIM (3-1)

Based on Fist Pump’s recent surge, this will be a huge game for both teams. Fist Pump can backup last week’s tie with an impressive showing tonight against another veteran team. For NIM, this is a chance to pick up a signature win against one of the hottest teams in the league.

NIM 4, Fist Pump 3

Thanks Timmy!

Speaking of Flying Squirrels games.....today's 10:35 game is for Education Day!

Isn't that kind of contradictory?

Skip school and go see a game for Education Day??

Deebo since when are you a whinier whore than Steele? First it's "we're not high enough on the power rankings cuz CJ won by forfeit, now you're demanding predictions that only 5 of us will read anyway AND you want kids to actually get educated? I guess the year of KIOS comes with a price...the year of Deebo acting like a little bitch!

Go TNM...this madness needs to stop.

My prediction for the Ligers v/s MC game. Complete domination and humiliation on the field and at the bar(if they show up). Honestly, I think the Miller-Coors team will "Head For The Mountains", after this brutal match, or in reality back to River City kickball, where they belong. If more than 2 players from their team came out after the games, than I would cut them some slack. But, being that this is a 7:30 game, MC will most likely implode by the 3rd inning, as the drunk Ligers get under their skin by relentlessly taunting and running up the score. We will bend them over on the field, and shove Dos Equis "Ligers" down their throat!! Sorry RVA WAKA for single-handily changing the beer distributors with one night of debauchery!!

Does that mean you cried when you found out Karen wasn't having your baby??? baaaaaaaaaaaa-zingggggggg.

Otherwise, who said I'm a) a tough guy or b) a strong man? Regardless, I'm still not even remotely sorry...it's true...I had to ref these clowns last week and they were dicks that whole night, so we're showing no mercy (Jody is drinking 2 red bulls).

In the famous word of Roberto Duran, MC yelled "No Mas" after 20 runs. 5 did show up at the bar and bought some pitchers of beer for us!

20 runs and we only played 3 innings.
Pete "Did you play a lot of Risk growing up?"
Me "I don't know what that means."

So overall the winning teams beat the losing teams 69-4... that has to be some kinda record... I have no idea what the schedule looks like, but I kinda hope we get some closer games next week...

Next week's games:
Toe Bashers vs KIOS...could be close but with KIOS actually playing offense these days, doubtful.
MC Team vs Balls & Brews...blowout, just depends on how many runs B&B wants to score and/or how many innings MC Team wants to suffer through.
Fist Pump vs Ligers...blowout judging by Fist Pump shitting the bed against NIM last night proving themselves not actually near elite status after their Pirate Hookers tie.
TBD vs NIM...blowout, just depends on which NIM defense shows up (their Fist Pump defense or the defense that doesn't care if they let in a few runs).
Where's My BJ vs Pirate Hookers...likely blowout even though/because a) I'm still not sold on Pirate Hookers being elite after the Fist Pump tie last night but b) BJ is still terrible.
TNM vs We Got the Runs...this might actually be the game of the night because both teams suck so it could go either way.

So in closing, sorry Skirpies, but until week 8 (5/27) there won't be many good games (week 8 = B&B/Ligers, NIM/Pirate Hookers) minus shitty teams playing close games against other shitty teams...gap between shitty, OK and elite is just too big.
