Two things...
1. How could you have watched a good portion of our game, as your playoff game was going on at the very same time?
2. Sometimes you have to give credit to the defense doing their job in shutting down another team's offense

I dont know where it is but i just heard that Trey said without Corey we woulda got blown out.. well all I have to say to that is without Larry and your 11th man (1st base ref) you woulda got blown out. The fact is we had corey, we have corey on a roster, and like billy said, the reffing was awesome all day except for that one ref and if you were a man you'd admit it.. I will admit that we clearly benefitted from a few horrible calls against the meatballs, but fortunately in that game all it woulda done is made it where they got through their lineup faster. I know that could make a difference, but most of the bad calls were either with 2 outs no one on, or no one got on after the bad call that was made. The calls against Pannik that we had against us were horrible.. If you know casey and how level headed he is, and then saw how pissed he was during that game you would know what I was talking about. Simple as this.. give us Corey or Toby in DC and we can put whatever you want on the game if we play you Trey.

Dear VA Beach players,

No offense, but the "Tiki was missing some key people" line gets tired after the 3rd tournament in a row. Nothing against Tiki, but it's getting kind of old. Please find a new topic of conversation.

beachslappers are not good. RR can beat them without Mr. Awesome,Weiner,Flades ,Pow and Q

Corey and BK Loaded hold down the FL defense in my opinion . I know that the 3rd baseman is solid but how many outs did he really make with Corey on the mound? Corey is so tough that even the best bunters fouls out or Pop up to the catcher. I bet 40% of the outs made in the game against the MBs were on foul outs or pop up bunts that BK Loaded flew out of the box and made a great play on. All im saying is that we will see how good F.L. 3rdbaseman is when they play a top team without Corey pitching. DP even fouled out to start the game. He prob has a lifetime kb average of over 90% at leadoff and he fouled out!

We did not start "clicking" until the 1st inning of the Wu tang game. We ended our last game of pool play on a loss to a walk off solo shot on a misplayed ball.Got out at the plate once, got doubled up at 3rd(would have had bases loaded 1 out) and a runner stranded on 3rd with 1 out in the first. Had an angry lunch with captains fighting and finally woke up when Mj came flying in to home head first against FL. Our toughest game was in the elite 8 and it put us on cruise control for the next 12 innings. Same thing happened in sfko when we had Jki in the elite 8 and won in extra.

FL was the 2nd best team at the tournament that day from what i saw and played against in my opinion

The Situation was good but we did beat ourselves bad that game. Mj threw a gem against them but our outfielders left for lunch 2 minutes early. And we ran the bases like a team from ocean. Playing that bad may have been the best thing for us. I dunno?

1. We finished our game against Tiki while ya'll were in the 3rd inning against MB.
2. I've given Corey credit. He is an amazing pitcher. He makes your infield 10x better. When we played ya'll in SFKO without Corey, we would have beaten ya'll 9 out of 10 times. With Corey I'd say we win 6 or 7 out of 10.

To by quite honest with you, I saw absolutely zero "horrible" calls. I saw a few ties go to the runner while we were on offense, and I saw a few ties go to ya'll when you were on offense. Close calls are part of the game. If you need all of the 50/50 calls to go in your favor in order to be competitive with a team, you are clearly not the better team.

I never saw Casey get pissed off. He was a class act, yet again. Some of your other players were hot-heads and whined about absolutely everything. I was a little embarrassed for Casey since he's the captain and some of your immature behavior unfortunately reflects on him.

yep. From WHAT I SAW.

So was the situations game plan against PA just to kick because they cant get on bunting? Very ballsy and well executed? Or mistakes on Defense?

It was a combination of the two. The top of their order bunted, but went 4 up 3 down. Everyone after that kicked away. They had one inning where we had four errors and they had about 4-5 kicks that spun off their feet and landed just behind our infielders. I would have congratulated them for a well executed game plan if they had intentionally put the ball where they wanted. Most of them were trying to kick the shit out of it and miskicked it--only to get lucky with it falling into space. It was one of those innings where everything went right for them and everything went wrong for us.

Thats the worst. Especially when it happens to a good team in a tourney and they are done after that.

The Situation must of stepped in a big pile of dog shit in the morning cause everything went their way all day till the end

I'm getting off my computer but I just wanted to say one last thing. Your team gave up more runs against the situation then we did our entire season of beach last year, and that was without Corey. Our only losses in the history of fully loaded were to balls deep, jki, you, and meatballs.. i'll take any of those teams 10 out of 10 against the situation (obviously not you guys 10 out of 10). as i said before, if you dont wanna be a man and admit bad calls you are just not a stand up guy. we gave up 5 runs all tournament, you gave up 8 in one game to a team that scored a total of 1 against meatballs in 11 innings on a fluke misplayed ball in the outfield.. we scored 1 against them in 6 innings.. i think if you take away our opening game against the texas team in the SFKO where we put in our reserves in the last inning and gave up 5 runs we have given up a total of 9 runs in two tournaments.. u gave up 8 in one game..that's not the sign of an elite team.. watch out for us in DC and I hope we are in your bracket cause it's gonna be so much fun when we win.. I actually like all the people on your team, besides you. all of them are stand up guys and good people off the field too.. u act like an arrogant POS on and off the field.. and i'll take our catcher over you any day of the week. just enjoy your win against us now, cause once larry is gone for you guys you will be trash

I'm not good at math, but what I'm getting out of your word problem is that Fully Loaded is 0-2 against a team that's not very good. Is that accurate?

You should probably take Meatballs off of that list that would go 10 for 10 against The Situation since they just went 1-1 against them. I'm sure your math is right on the other teams, though.

Oh, and sorry I didn't buy an 8th place trophy. Your participation medal is in the mail, though.

I agree with you that you would have beat us the majority of time in sfko, but that had nothing to do with the fact that we didn't have corey. It had to do with us having no offense against you that game. I believe we only had two players get on at sfko

BEEEAAANNNSSS!! I was stoked that the jimmybeans i knew years ago finally decided to come and play. kid was a monster and actually the best part of the weekend was jimmy and his insane comedy on sunday. I cant even count how many times he said "thats like jimmy kicking a bomb off dematas," when someone did something unbelieveable.

All those are good options, but not as good as wearing glitter on my shirts and bedazzled jeans.

Dear VA Beach players,

No offense, but the "Tiki was missing some key people" line gets tired after the 3rd tournament in a row. Nothing against Tiki, but it's getting kind of old. Please find a new topic of conversation.

Sincerely,
The Message Board

cute ZAK how you take a line out of what i wrote. i am not on tiki. i do not speak for tiki. i was very humbled that tiki asked me to play. so next time you want to quote me speaking as tiki please read everything.

Notice I said VA Beach players. It's never Tiki people who come on here and say how good they are at home but they have issues getting a team together for tournaments. People talked about it wasn't "the real Tiki" that Hoboken beat at k365, how the team Meatballs beat in Vegas "was Tiki minus the people who couldn't make", and now I'm hearing that in a tournament that they didn't have to travel to "were with out some key players" Tiki might be a good team at home, but until they start showing up strong to torunaments, maybe it's time to stop talking about them like they've been a legit tourney contender in recent memory. Nothing against Tiki, but their tournament record shows that don't have what it takes to be considered a top team outside of their division.

Zak, you won't find a single person from VB on this thread that disagrees with you. I think most people from this area are disappointed that Tiki can't get their key people to tournaments.

fine i get it. i cant speak for tiki...i will not speak for tiki. you can sit there on the other side of the computer all you want but you arent here and you have not played in these tourneys that tiki has. being there to ref is one thing but actually playing is another. i know these guys are great players & a group of the best athletes that are in this area. i might have been the biggest problem that messed them up this weekend b/c i am not a normal tiki player.

I'm not denying that Tiki are great players or that they're some of the best athletes in the are. But how many times do we need to hear "the Tiki at the tournament wasn't the real Tiki" when they show up to a tournament and don't play as well as teams like Frosty, MiR, the Situation, or PA? I'm just being honest, that line is getting a bit old.

frosty. MIR. Situation. PA.

arent those 4 teams basically the same group of people just switched around? keep your eyes (ears) open for the other teams from the 757 who actually dont just form teams 7 days before a tourney

why do you think my team is called sloppy seconds? the core started with...blue balls and me (frosty). we were nothing but sloppy seconds from some of the best teams. just saying.
