HTKC Officially Retires

BETHESDA, MD - The MD Fire 2010 season is about to begin. There's only 5 teams. None of which is the Happy Time Kickball Crew. After board members of MD Fire figured out that the HTKC players are made up of players from DC Liberty and DC Rock Creek, it became obvious that these players could ONLY play on Mondays or Tuesdays. The solution to get rid of HTKC? Move the division to Wednesdays.

When long time HTKC Captain, Da_MAULER was asked for a comment, he said, "I'm retired from kickball."

Also, in MD Fail tradition, it moved half of the games to nearby city Rockville. The sponsor bar is still located in Bethesda.

Who's going to win MD Fail this year? Well, it's finally up for grabs? HTKC had won the division 2-straight years, and dominated the flip-cup tables, and charity during that time.

No clue. Half of the weeks are in Bethesda. The 2nd half of the season is in Rockville.

It was a good run. Season 2 in MD Fail wasn't as much fun. That 2nd division board lacked the proper balance of incompetence/evil that the first season's board had. It also had none of the douchey teams for us to beat up on. I think HTKC is retiring at the right time.
