• Each team will be given three balloons of their color at the beginning of the evening. The balloons are to be inflated and kept safe by selected team members. At least one balloon must be in the possession of a female team member at all times.
• Each team will also receive three Challenge Cards. These will be used to enter into Beer Battles to conquer other teams and attain their balloons.
• Points will be awarded for all balloons a team has in their possession at 1am (or when all Challenges are complete if earlier). Teams will be awarded 5 points for every balloon of their color and 10 points for every balloon of another color.
DETAILS
The goal of this week’s Balloon Battle Challenge is to keep safe your team’s balloons while winning other teams balloons. Balloons are to be inflated and kept in hand by a team member (at least one female) at all times. Unattended balloons will be confiscated by the Social Chairs.
To win another team’s balloon, a team member with a balloon in hand can challenge a Balloon Guardian of an opposing team with one of their three Challenge Cards. Any individual in possession of a balloon is able to be challenged, and must accept the challenge. Once a Challenge Card has been thrown down, a Social Chair/Board Member must be notified to administer the Challenge. The Challenging Balloon Guardian will pick from three challenges by selecting the challenge out of a bag.
The challenges are:
• Chug A Lug – Each Balloon Guardian must chug a Natty Light. The first to finish is the winner.
• Flip Flip Hooray! – Each Balloon Guardian must compete in a three cup flip off. First to successfully flip the last cup over is the winner.
• Quick Quarters – Each Balloon Guardian must chug half a cup of beer and then bounce a quarter into a shot glass. First to get the quarter into the glass is the winner.
Once the Challenge has been completed, the winning Balloon Guardian wins the losing Guardian’s balloon. They can then choose another team member to become Guardian of the won balloon.
Not So Fast… A Few More Things
• Guardians are able to Challenge a Guardian of a won balloon.
• BYOB – If you are a Guardian please have beer in your possession as well, to compete in the Challenges. If you are Challenging, YOU BETTER have beer.
• A Guardian can only be in possession of ONE balloon at a time. Win balloons and share the love with your team members.
• Once a Guardian loses their balloon they can no longer be a Guardian for the remainder of the night
• Please note that there will be a penalty for popping balloons!
• Guardians must be present at 1am (or when Challenges are complete) for the point tally to be awarded points
