Does anyone have game videos from Founders Cup? Specifically Sweet 16 games and on to the finals? Is WAKA putting together anything like they did last year for the final game? Is Mr. John Canery putting anything together? Let me know.

I saw a lot of cameras, camcorders, tripods, and whatever else people had. Cannot wait to see some footage as well.

I've posted this elsewhere in the forum already, but i'll repeat since this thread is about this. Paddy Culham from CA Hollywood (Ballsheviks) has been filming a kickball documentary for the last 2 seasons, and has a ton of footage from the Founders Cup. He is already trying to put together some game highlights to post, and will do so as soon as he can. In the meantime, here's a highlight from Pitch, Please vs. Riff Raff in the round of 32 (courtesy of Paddy).

Paddy - if you see this thread and want to provide more, please do so.

Thanks man, good to meet some of you in Vegas. That second kicker clearly was safe and the third kicker should have been called out for that bs he pulled and that runner should be put back to where he was. Not sure if it was the same guy, but someone on that team did that to me, that is some Meatball bs. Also, Q def isn't a pitcher and Swais struck that female out in our game.

Oh my...that's how Riff Raff lost? A two run shot by a girl over the OF's head? I mean, it was a nice kick, but no girl should EVER beat you over your head.
If I say mean things to you and it hurts your feelings, f#ck you.

The way Q was pitching, i'm surprised the outfielders weren't back farther.

That was in the second inning to tie the game at 2. That female is Becky (my wife) also sac bunted home the winning run in the top of the 6th.

Yeah, i've watched that video about 25 times now. Rio was clearly safe. Chaz made a questionable detour (although was still within 4 feet of the baseline, i think). I don't know what rule would allow you to put a runner back a base, though. The runner went from 2nd to 3rd on that play, and there's no way he wouldn't have advanced. Not a play that I coach, believe me. I'm all about doing it fair and square. Some guys just do it their own way.

The big kick was by my wife Becky. I think she had super high expectations after that when we played you and was trying way too hard to blast the ball.

Yeah, he was on second, I guess he should get third. Not sure about the four feet, but he ran to the wrong base.

2nd kicker was clearly out by a step. camera is at a horrible angle to see the play. it was the right call. that is all

those were actually just about the only 2 kicks that came my way. they were doing a lot of kicking away...

1st dude in the video actually had 3 fouls trying to kick away...then on that last one he faked like he was gonna kick and laid that bunt down...ballsy

what sketchy play are you guys referring to. somewhat running out of the baseline? i didn't notice anytihing in the game or on the video (maybe cuz I fell on my ass on that play)

Our third kicker (the guy with the tan camo pants) ran inside the line up to first.

Man, the guy your talking about with the camo pants was chillin in the outfield during the MB vs PA game and caught me on the way over to watch. I stopped and hung out with him for a few and left there 3 sheets in the wind....tell him thanks for me. :ymparty:

That didn't look like Riff Raff to me. That looked like a run-of-the-mill team out there (no offense, Flades).

That's bc Riff Raff was missing Weiner (Starting Catcher, #2 batter) Jeff (Starting Pitcher and #5 kicker I believe...

It seemed to be more than that, missing 2 people should not make a team play as flat as they did in the game I watch of theirs.

Dan, did you touch 1B on that sac fly? I ask because we were caught in a similar situation where Jay hit a sac fly with one out and bases loaded to end the game by Mercy Rule. The team caught the ball in the outfield and then casually walked to 1B as our team was lining up to slap hands with Monster Cartel. He touched 1B and then informed the Head Ref that it was a double play and no runs scored. Jay never touched 1B--it seemed you didn't either.

He kicked a fly ball that was caught. Why would he need to touch 1B when he's already out?

He was out. All the runners tagged up (but didn't advance) and the run scored before a second out could have been made.

You're right, JD. In Jay's situation he hit dirt. Disregard my comment.

In other news, has anyone ever seen Riff Raff look that horrible before? It looked like amateur hour out there!

No Shoes is quite the documentarian (if it wasn't a word before, it is now) these days. Of course, you'll only get 69 videos of him throughout the course of the day, but maybe you and your other teammates will get caught on camera in the background or something.

Q (the big black pitcher for much of the game) is their normal 1B. He's solid. You need a guy with steady hands at first with Flades throwing laser beams all game.

Q (the big black pitcher for much of the game) is their normal 1B. He's solid. You need a guy with steady hands at first with Flades throwing laser beams all game.

Yeah, that guy was dropping everything.

First video I've seen of Flades, he's quick as shit. Throws were on point also.

That's why he's the best in the game...

After watching that video and playing against Flades this year, I'm gonna have to put Larry ahead of Flades. No way either of those guys beats the throw with those bad bunts (in the original video) against Larry.
If I say mean things to you and it hurts your feelings, f#ck you.

Trey my man, you cant play your best in every game. If I'm correct, Flades said that wasnt his best. Im old and slow, Flades is in a different time zone! Thanks for the props, but he is the best! There's at least 5 other guys I think are better than me. Hell, there are a couple on my own team. Besides, you only say I'm the best because I play on your team! :-P

This video showed some things.
Riff Raff

1) Q isn't a good pitcher
2) Flades looks almost ordinary on a team like that

Pitch Please!

1) Not a great 1B
2) Some of their players do not know the rules. I heard, "It's fair cause it rolled 12 feet" or something, "He was on the plate", and not sure what else. I also heard a JimmyBeans in there, "I got it"

Did I miss anything?
My retirement spokesman, sduncan will be handling all questions related to this topic.
