I've posted this elsewhere in the forum already, but i'll repeat since this thread is about this. Paddy Culham from CA Hollywood (Ballsheviks) has been filming a kickball documentary for the last 2 seasons, and has a ton of footage from the Founders Cup. He is already trying to put together some game highlights to post, and will do so as soon as he can. In the meantime, here's a highlight from Pitch, Please vs. Riff Raff in the round of 32 (courtesy of Paddy).

Paddy - if you see this thread and want to provide more, please do so.

That second kicker clearly was safe and the third kicker should have been called out for that bs he pulled and that runner should be put back to where he was. Not sure if it was the same guy, but someone on that team did that to me, that is some Meatball bs. Also, Q def isn't a pitcher and Swais struck that female out in our game.

Yeah, i've watched that video about 25 times now. Rio was clearly safe. Chaz made a questionable detour (although was still within 4 feet of the baseline, i think). I don't know what rule would allow you to put a runner back a base, though. The runner went from 2nd to 3rd on that play, and there's no way he wouldn't have advanced. Not a play that I coach, believe me. I'm all about doing it fair and square. Some guys just do it their own way.
The big kick was by my wife Becky. I think she had super high expectations after that when we played you and was trying way too hard to blast the ball.

Yeah, he was on second, I guess he should get third. Not sure about the four feet, but he ran to the wrong base.

2nd kicker was clearly out by a step. camera is at a horrible angle to see the play. it was the right call. that is all

1st dude in the video actually had 3 fouls trying to kick away...then on that last one he faked like he was gonna kick and laid that bunt down...ballsy
what sketchy play are you guys referring to. somewhat running out of the baseline? i didn't notice anytihing in the game or on the video (maybe cuz I fell on my ass on that play)

That's bc Riff Raff was missing Weiner (Starting Catcher, #2 batter) Jeff (Starting Pitcher and #5 kicker I believe...

He touched 1B and then informed the Head Ref that it was a double play and no runs scored. Jay never touched 1B--it seemed you didn't either.

He kicked a fly ball that was caught. Why would he need to touch 1B when he's already out?

Q (the big black pitcher for much of the game) is their normal 1B. He's solid. You need a guy with steady hands at first with Flades throwing laser beams all game.

Yeah, that guy was dropping everything.
First video I've seen of Flades, he's quick as shit. Throws were on point also.

Trey my man, you cant play your best in every game. If I'm correct, Flades said that wasnt his best. Im old and slow, Flades is in a different time zone! Thanks for the props, but he is the best! There's at least 5 other guys I think are better than me. Hell, there are a couple on my own team. Besides, you only say I'm the best because I play on your team!Zen Trey wrote:BK Loaded wrote:That's why he's the best in the game...
After watching that video and playing against Flades this year, I'm gonna have to put Larry ahead of Flades. No way either of those guys beats the throw with those bad bunts (in the original video) against Larry.
