I heard the Best Damn Sports Show is joining the Circuit.

HAHA, I went to high school with the HOT host of that show, Lee Ann Tweeden and yes she was that hot back then to.

They asked the Valley Girls to not take it so hard and to not embarass John Sally's and Alfonso Ribera's of the world. Many of the VG's being in the world of television production knew the score.

I umpired the game and they wanted US to take it easy on the rules. It was fun (and still on my DVR from two plus years ago).

They selected us for a reason. They knew we would be game for whatever, cause we really didn't give a shit about anything but having fun. And yes they removed outs and placed baserunners, yes they batted the dude who was playing in the MLS at the time like 4 times in 3 innings. Yes they told us we couldn't pitch hard, or stack our lineup or call encroachment, or tell them they couldn't have 12 players on the field etc etc etc.

So sure we lost. But it was fun as hell, and entertaining. And we have a keepsake from a great time in our life with a great crew of friends.


And still 3 years later people can't understand that, we truly didn't give a fuck if we won. You'd think that would be clear when we brought a 24 person roster with 9 girls to Vegas the year before that and played every single person equally, and did beer bongs on the pitchers mound.

I'm not criticizing you guys for playing this game. I think any team would have jumped at the chance. My beef is with the show itself for supposedly giving kickball publicity, but mocking it in the process.

I agree it would have been way funnier if we smashed them, we got a bunt homer on the first play and then they started messin with things.
