They have always been either "The Kids" or "Da Kids" or "Los Ninos" (ugh), as they were least season. They wore tie-dye last season and their captain has the most nasally, super annoying voice. They suck.

Nope. I can't stand that team. They are just shitty dudes and they never, ever go out to the bar afterwards (not like I'm there all the time, but at least I show up every once in a while).

Yeah and the week after that they play NBK and Kickey Henderson. Very tough 4 game stretch. I'll be impressed if they go 2-2.

For a new team, that record is pretty damn good. They might have played bottom teams, but those teams are teams that have played together for awhile. So Good job SMK!

i think we will be splitting the pitching duties tonight.. since i only played 3 games of ping pong im not too sore. ps the punching bag game will get you sore too! also a good way to hurt yourself. i like to call it the "douche game". It's nice going up against capable squads week to week

We played Suck My Kick this past Friday and I must say I was impressed with some of the athletes / talent they have. As a team, they are way off in being a top contender. They have lots of kickball smarts to learn. However, as individuals, they are made up of some athletes. Their 1B'man caught that rocket of a ball that Mike kicked. 99% of 1B'men don't catch that ball. The OF covering a ton ground and making a nice diving catch (singular - because the 2nd catch was not under the "diving" category. For he caught it then dove). Watch out for this team if they decide to continue playing. Reminds me of Last Picked when they first came to the league. And now look, most of those original players have a championship with CuNext Punt.

Chocolate Taurus. Played a tough game and we got lucky to tie them. Bellman was fire. Shutting down our short game and scoring both of his teams runs.

We lost to NBK 5-1. They put 4 runs on the board in the first and cruised from there. They're a good front running team when they have the lead. It sucks we won't have another chance at them in the regular season.
Second game we beat the Stepdads 8-2. After this week every team will have played each other once so the records will be legit. Speedy called The Kids downfall, they've lost their last 4 games after starting 4-0. We get them this week so we'll have to make it 5 losses in a row.

We get Army of Darkness next week. Going to be a tough matchup, for we will be very short handed (will be taking at least 1 out for a missing girl). A group of "seasoned" players are going to Vegas that weekend.
