You guys definitely have the better team. I don't doubt you'll beat us by a considerable margin in the rematch.

Unfortunately, pretty much all the competitive teams had double-headers this week, so there weren't many experienced refs available.
I thought the best call of the game was the "foul off" bunt that was called foul, then rolled fair. Our new guy stood there expecting it to be a foul since it was called foul (even though it rolled fair). Joey waits like ten seconds for it to slowly roll fair, picks it up, turns to the ref, and says, "It's a fair ball." Then tags our guy. Everyone on our sideline is laughing because we all know that the ref fucked up, and we all recognize that a play is dead once any ref yells "foul."
The ref ultimately calls it an out, then later admits that he fucked up twice in one play.

That frustrated me as well when he reversed his own call. Never seen that happen before.
Another frustrating play was Dave’s bunt. He bunted down third and everyone watched the ball roll down third seeing if it would roll foul. It didn’t so we all figured he was safe. Then the head ref calls foul and states it can’t come back fair after at anytime it goes foul. I understood that but was frustrated he let the ball come to a stop and was watching the ball roll down third like everyone else before he made the call. It didn’t make any sense.
