Fully Loaded (4-0) vs. Meatballs (4-0)- Thursday 7PM
Fake Vegas line:
Meatballs -2.5 Fully Loaded = Over/Under 5.5
Money line - Fully Loaded +280 Meatballs -360
Tale of the Tape: Last Beach season, Fully Loaded took it to the Meatballs in a decisive 6-4 victory. Fully Loaded then came back in Ultra and tied the Meatballs 2-2 in the regular season. The playoffs in Ultra were different seeing a focused Meatball team in a blow-out over the baby blue on route to a championship. This season of Beach, in my opinion, these are the 2 best teams even though JKI and Balls Deep can make a case.
So who has the edge?
Pitcher - MB have 2 of the best I've ever seen, but Rose and TST are very solid Edge: MB
Charger - Damn you Flader - haha Edge: MB
Catcher - I call this one even (BK enter curse word here but little J is under-rated) Edge: Even
1B/Outfield (defensivly) - Both teams are loaded with talent - very slight edge MB Edge: MB
Girls - Both teams have very under-rated girls Edge: Even
Line-up - Meatballs are loaded from top to bottom - could come down to who shows up Edge: MB
Intangibles - Having played for TST, there is not a better kickball coach in the game. This kid would intentionally walk like 6 guys and not have one of them score. Edge: FL
My pick: Meatballs struggle early, but come away with a 4-1 victory but don't sleep on FL in SFLA!
Other game of interest:
Balls Deeper -1 JKI - Over/Under 4.5

I dont disagree about Casey being a good coach but that does not always means he manages the game the right way with his walks. 2nd round of the Ultra league double elimination playoffs will show that. I beleive around 5 of the 9 (this is a guess, but is around that give or take 1) runs scored were by players that were intentionally walked.
We also played 2 games in the Boynton Beach tournament (Dec 2010)and against each other in elimintaion rounds of the founders Cup (Oct 2010).
I think the line seems about right. Not sure how intense this game will be. I know about 18 people that are zoned in on SFKO and kind of going through the motions at Beack kb. We'll see..

As a firm believer in the use of intentional walks, just because some of those intentional walks scored, it doesn't mean it was the wrong strategy. Just bad execution.

And when it comes to walking people, only once has it not worked out the way I wanted and that was because one of our fielders made an error on a routine play. Yes, when it comes to the Meatballs, it's a lot harder to avoid players by walking them because you have so many weapons, but I'm also not sure that has anything to do with coaching...it just means you have a shit ton of talented players.
Either way, I am by no means a perfect coach and I have made plenty of mistakes.

Of course Im gonna say ours are better.
When I judge a girl i factor in certain things. I dont care how well they play against shitty teams. Means nothing. I just look at how good they are in clutch games. Like for us when we play fl,jki,bd or a tournament. Do they pop up,foul out,get the bunt down, can they kick?. How good are their hands? And I beleive right now that 3 of our 4 girls out there are as good as they get. They can bunt, kick and catch. And they are the easiest group of girls to manage ever with no attitude about playing time or batting order. This is why my girls are the best

All 6 of my girls are good. Just saying 3 of them are some the BEST when you break it down to if they can KIck,bunt and catch. And having a great attitude without being a pain in my ass. I highly doubt you have 4 that have all four of those qualities
