Where does this stand on interference? Runner obviously has to slow up due to 1B being in the way of the outside bag, designated for the runner. Any chance she was called safe for that reason?

if the course of the play brings him naturally to the outside base she can run to the base. However since he is tagging her and not getting the out by force play, there is no interference

when i watched the video i was like WOW


ok as in the base player was "in the way". watching the actual video you see him trying to make the play and actually pulling back....ball hit his hand and hit her (randi) prior to her hitting the base.

I was playing in the outfield and didnt agree w/ the safe call b/c i thought i saw it hit her but since there was no obvious reaction from anyone on my team (LIU) i figured homeboy reffing was right.

there is NO SUCH thing of slow-mo or replays in kickball!!!!!!
