I don't think he's calling you a douche cause you argue, more about talking $hit while you're playing. My girlfriend calls me a douche so it can't be that bad of a thing... As a whole, I don't remember too many of the Meatballs talking noise except Jimmy and some people answering his antics on the sidelines.

As far as arguing, if the call is wrong or controversial and it's going to cost you the game , my captains better be out there arguing. You're an idiot if you just accept their bad call and lose.

I just dont get his logic thats all.

Is he just writing ridiculous things that make no sense just to do it?

or

Does he really believe in what he posts?

remember that team had Jimmy, Scott, AND Q on it! That is a lot of noise. Personally I think those guys are hilarious and if I was on another team I wouldn't take it the way that Catch 22 did...but at the same time I can see how people might get annoyed

Only one guy talks shit. And not as much as he used to. Jimmy yells from the outfield saying to kick it to RC,which is hardly talking shit.

And if our defense running off the field insults someone then that is the DUMBEST thing i ever heard.

This whole conversation has gotten a mind of its own. When MK first asked why I said the MB's were douchey, I posted a picture of the Cobra Kai karate team, which was a joke obviously. He got serious and asked for a better explanation, so I gave him one. And of the combination of things I mentioned, arguing calls, talking shit, running off the field, those are all things some of you guys admittedly do. I'm not trying to get personal or anything like that. I'm not calling people out individually. I never said my team was perfect and don't claim that they are. I never said I was insulted by anything the Meatballs do. As I said before, if you want to sprint off the field right after making the third out in an inning or talk shit to teams, go for it. It's a free country. But Slam asked me what I thought, and I think some of the Meatballs' antics are douchey. I don't know what else to tell you.

I don't know if I am agreeing with anyone, but Meatballs taunt people, talk trash, argue every call, and are very hostile on the field. Anyone who has been to a tourney they have played in knows this to be the accurate. Oh yeah, they fake injuries, try to intimidate refs, and always do shady bs on the field. Did I forget anything?

At this level, I think everyone complains a lot. Tempers flare and whatnot.

For what it's worth, I think most of the Meatballs seem okay. The nicest ones, DP Corey and Flades, were imported but they seem to get along with the rest of you just fine. The Shelander-story is one of the funniest I'd heard in awhile. What else... Jimmybeans grabs too many dude-crotches and Mrs. beans twists too many nipples. Chaz yelled at me once when I was trying to calm down a teammate of mine that was arguing with him. That was a little weird.

I think sprinting off the field is okay as long as you don't wuss out on the wedgie-giving.

Yeah it is what it is.I actually dont think the complaining is that bad overall compared to playing some shit teams. I just hate when games are being delayed and the people delaying them have no clue what they are even arguing about. The reason this argue thing has been being posted all day is cause catch 22 called us out for it. But he has been asked to name a time we did it against him and has yet to say when.

I remember playing on Zaks team in the NY tournament 2 years ago. We were terrible to say the least. But we ended up playing M2S twice that day and both time they argued like crazy. It was so annoying. Especially for them to do it playing against Zaks team. I know they were a little salty cause thier top wen 1-2-3 in the first. But the arguing was uncalled for. That is where i started to notice it. I also have noticed it everytime I have watched them play since

they were fine in pool play, but they got pretty salty in pool play. I remember them playing LIU in the next game but I remember there being a lot of salt in that game too. Where's the pics from that tournament? I remember someone (maybe Scorekeeper) had some great picture of the DC team getting salty.

I think the picture you're thinking of is actually of Wiggle it for Ghana. It was taken right after the home ref inexplicably overturned the correct call at 1st, which ended the game with us down by 1 and bases loaded. Will went ballistic, but it was completely justified.

ERIKA alone makes our team the loudest in the country!

i think i agree with this. mccoy is good about having calm conversations with the refs.

panik might be the loudest team in the country, however.

ERIKA alone makes our team the loudest in the country!
It's awesome. If I don't hear her yelling, "Here we go Pa-NIK!" from the middle of the field I forget what I'm doing... :)

haha that's who i was referring to.

It's so funny though because people that don't know her have the complete wrong impression of her, especially in league play! I love to see the other team's faces when she's yelling "good eye" when you just let a strike roll by....

She is one of the funniest (and loudest) people I know :)
In fact, she's probably one of the coolest kb'ers most people will never meet.

She is the one that likes to yell: "Let's get some more POINTS!" And she thinks it's hysterical...

yeah, what is her deal? She may be cool off the field, but could you imagine living with her and having an argument? I would lose every single time.

I don't remember any salt in our game. We were screwing around the whole time and wondering why you weren't lead off. Remember you beat me to 1B?

Haha, aww! :( She is goofy and boisterous on the field and with our team. I had to go see her at her job a few weeks ago and she was really giddy to show me around but she wasn't bouncing off walls or anything. In all honesty I can't even picture her and her boyfriend fighting. In my mind they probably just laugh constantly and Erika probably is pulling practical jokes on him as often as possible :)

She just loves her team and competition--but in a light hearted way.

I haven't had the privilege to play PA yet, but I must nominate my team as the least argumentative team in the country!

I see no point in arguing a call when it is a judgment call. They already stated their judgment. I will ask the other ref if he saw differently and then move on.

Even if it is a rule argument, there is no reason to argue. You simply ask the ref in a calm voice what did you see (related to the rule) before you tell him the rule. Then you can inform him what the rule is and say you just said you saw it this way.

was talking about your elimination game against M2S, seemed like there was a 5 minute arguement about them tagging on a 4th foul that was caught. something about the ref not calling foul loud enough.

A runner can still advance if the 4th foul is caught. The ball is not foul until it touches in foul territory. Therefore, if you catch it, it never touches foul territory. If you don't want the runner to advance, don't catch the ball.
If I say mean things to you and it hurts your feelings, f#ck you.

Kicker was not in the kicking box, so it was a foul right off the foot. The issue was that LIU's 2nd base didn't hear the foul call and catched the ball, allowing the runner to tag up. LIU got quite upset when they found out that the 4th foul had been call stating that they would have let the ball drop if they had known.

How is the Situation not being brought up as an argumentative team? They're all good guys and play hard. But I've played them three times, and they've caused five+ minute delays arguing some call with the refs in every one of those games.

When WuTang played them in DC last year, Rabidou and Amy turned an awesome infield fly double play and one of those dudes complained about it for the rest of the game. It was classic.
