I'm not playing in this tournament, but I figured I would make the fake odds anyway. I am familiar with most of the teams from SFKO, so here it goes:

Panik Attack 3/5
Fully Loaded 7/2
OSC 4/1
TI Squaring 5/1
NYSH 7/1
The Situation 11/1
Flying V 12/1
IB 15/1
Back in Black 15/1
MO Tussin 20/1
Victory in Da Feet 30/1
Emporer's Club 35/1
Just for Kicks 35/1

Good luck to all teams playing - My prediction - PA takes FL in a thriller 3-2

I think us and TI Square should be about the same when it comes to odds as we really went blow for blow in SFKO. I'm also still very confused bout OSC and IB. From what I read, it seems like IB might be the better team. I also think too many people are sleeping on the Situation. They are still a force to be reckoned with.

not sure if IB is better than OSC, but I do think people gave OSC credit for M2S's performance in SFKO. From my understanding IB is going to look more like M2S (line up wise) than OSC will.

I consider OSC and IB to be about the same. I'm not sure one is significantly better/worse than the other yet. Both teams have lots of talent, though OSC has some inexperienced talent at this point.

The showing in SFKO is why people are sleeping on Sitch. They still have a dynamite top of the order and one of the sicknastiest pitchers in the game. They just need to keep their heads in the game, and they'll do just fine.

At these lines, I'd definitely lay a bill down for the Situation -11/1 and BiB -15/1.

Don't know much about the IB team - What people are saying, I would put them in the 9/1 range now.

Well DC teams use these tournaments as practice for the "super bowl". So I think they are more of a 15/1

M2S at SoFla 2011 = iB in 2011 (minus sleeveless, who will be playing on Panik).

We'll be short some key players for Va Beach, but so is everybody else at most tourneys.

From what I can tell OSC is returning half of their team and adding soccer talent to fill in the holes. I have no doubt they'll be far better by the DC tourney than they'll be at Va Beach.

We are having a meeting this weekend to discuss how we are going to seed and the breakdown of pools. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I would imagine that by Tuesday Morning at the latest we should know.

3-5 Panik is the clear favorite to win this tournament. The bad part is, as we learned last year, you have one bad game and you will get bounced in this tournament.

5-1 FL looked really good down in Florida and they have the type of line-up that just seems like you face one good kicker after another. Their talented females give them a huge advantage over most teams. I think anything less than a finals appearance will be a disappointment for them.

8-1 NYSH and TI. I give the adavantage to NYSH in terms of defensive depth depth. This is important because they can go through pool play and end up as a 1 or 2 seed. Where I think they are a little weak is consistently being strong on offense. TI Squaring has greatly imporoved their offense and defense from Florida but don't have as much defensive depth as the NYSH. Both teams seem to do dumb things in big games that tend may cost them in a big game.

9-1 The Situation have something to prove after Florida and being on their home turf they should have the fire power.

11-1 IB looks like they have a good team. I look for them to cause trouble in pool play and will be a tough draw for anyone in round one of knowkout play. Look for them to go further than most expect.

20-1 I am not expecting that much from Flying V. I think they will scare some teams but don't be surprised if they don't take that many steps forwad from Florida. A fundamentally sound Circuit team will bounce them before the Final 8.

22-1 Your odds just changed. If you need to get motivated to play by chatter on a message board that tells me something.

I am not sure if all teams are making it through to knockout play orthey are just doing the top 8.

I don't know April. I heard you not only got on base yesterday, but you scored as well. I'm sure it earned you some extra rewards at home.

We have our normal roster, minus our leadoff Scott, minus Brent, added the Reyes clan, James and Nicole. There are no out of town players on the squad. April will be running the tourney, and unable to play.

It's a solid team, and I look forward to us getting some experience playing together with Circuit rules.

IB > TI2 we mercy ruled them in three innings in SFKO

The only teams that are legitimately better than us at this tournament are panik and FL

Only situation osc or IB should be considered for the 3 seed.

tournament finals last year not named meatballs or panik
osc 2
situation 1
everyone else 0

IB is half osc so I'm throwing our name in the mix as well

I agree. People always forget about them, and then they make their run. Pretty much every tournament.

The only teams that are legitimately better than us at this tournament are panik and FL

Only situation osc or IB should be considered for the 3 seed.

tournament finals last year not named meatballs or panik
osc 2
situation 1
everyone else 0

IB is half osc so I'm throwing our name in the mix as well

this is just practice for you guys. Every tournament in practice until you get to the FC

You change your bait hook?? :D :D what happenened to

But to answer your changed response, IB won't be in practice mode next week

Nor will we be in practice mode in any tournament we are playing in from here on out. ;) Not that iB did that last year either, we were more trying to figure out who we are as a team more then anything last season.

So do you think IB has a shot to knock off Panik?

Any person that is competitive believes they have a chance to win against anyone on any day. I am also 100% sure that you already knew that though. ;)

Because I don't think most people know who ViDF added for the tournament...

We have our normal roster, minus our leadoff Scott, minus Brent, added the Reyes clan, James and Nicole. There are no out of town players on the squad. April will be running the tourney, and unable to play.

It's a solid team, and I look forward to us getting some experience playing together with Circuit rules.

Right...

I thought we'd get better odds with No Shoes on the roster. No respect, B

For the record, the "right" comment was directed at No Shoes and who ViDF is rumored to be bringing in but he left out.

fwiw, that rumor is about 4 months old, and truthfully nothing more than a rumor. there is nothing to it. vidf is not bringing anyone that hasn't been mentioned here.

Honestly, it's not a big deal since I won't be at VBKO. However, the talk about certain members possibly playing for ViDF were started by your husband, No Shoes.
